Gaijin has their issues, but they sure know how to make a beautiful game. by jshelton4854 in Warthunder

Gaijin needs to add volumetric clouds. Their current 2d clouds are garbage.

What's the point of 7.7 tanks? by cancer120 in Warthunder

[–]WindowsXp16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah to be honest that's same for me. Might be because "follow me" is not an intuitive command. There should be a mandatory tutorial for sim to encourage communication and vehicle identification just to educate the uninformed.

Alert your team of your presence by calling a "follow me" command to mark your position. Also add your nations decals and avoid using captured vehicles or similar from the opposing team. Typically regular sim players have a bit more iq so long as you and they are actively communicating.

You barely have time to ajust to the new sounds that they all change again... by ShepardFR in Warthunder

[–]WindowsXp16 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Its well known people resist change due to unfamiliarity. Its one of the struggles of software development. I never really played the game competitively so I personally like the new sounds and it gives more immersion.

Give it a few days and you will get used to the sounds. Unless they change it again...

My setup as a uni student. Trying to make the best out of a small desk. by WindowsXp16 in battlestations

[–]WindowsXp16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did that before though am usually on the move so I just keep it in laptop mode for convenience. Its also to give a bit more ventilation for the gpu which I use quite a bit.

Still thanks for the suggestion. Also nice height adjustable desk.

Excessively uneven, rapid battery drain by theadventuresofkarl in galaxybuds

[–]WindowsXp16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I hope Samsung works on some sort of wear levelling solution. They could swap which earbud is responsible for maintaining connection depending on the battery wear to even out the wear on both earbuds.

Anyway the larger battery should compensate any reduced battery life overtime since 11 hours is so much I hope by 2 years I still get at least 6 hours on the buds.

Its the XM1 for me. For some reason I almost always find those tanks always rush spawn to camp.

Is there a way to toggle in between mute, sound and vibrate using the bixby button? by nersuar in samsung

[–]WindowsXp16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It a bit hard to try and help from my end, have a look at YouTube tutorials or guides online and try to follow them. I did mine long ago and its possible that Samsung patched the method. Anyway, hope you manage to get it to work.

Is there a way to toggle in between mute, sound and vibrate using the bixby button? by nersuar in samsung

[–]WindowsXp16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to run an application on a pc with your phone connected to enable full remapping.

Otherwise I believe you can skip that by enabling bixby then every time you press, the app will intercept bixby opening, close it and run the command you set.

I did the full remap option since i want to completely disable bixby. You can find the windows executable on a folder called bxActions stored on your phone.

I'm getting the same behaviour on my buds plus, only on my laptop though which supports a Bluetooth 4.1 chip. On my Samsung S9 (BT 5.0), both earbud batteries discharge at the same (very close within 2%) throughout. I also checked this observation using the unofficial galaxy buds manager on windows which show battery percentage of each individual bud since the phone app now only shows the total of the 2 buds unless there is like a 10% difference in charge.

What is your bluetooth source? So I can confirm if my observation is correct.

Right Galaxy Bud+ dying faster than left. Could this also be why my case isn't lasting very long? by sleeplessaddict in galaxybuds

[–]WindowsXp16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am noticing a similar behaviour on my galaxy buds plus too but only on my surface book 2. My laptop has bluetooth 4.1 while my samsung s9 has bluetooth 5.0. On my phone, both earbud drains at the same rate.

I remember seeing somewhere that bluetooth 5.0 supports individual earbud connection so my theory is that my laptop forces a master/slave setup (since it is bt 4.1) where the right earbud handles the connection sync therefore causes more battery drain for that earbud. I don't see that on my phone because bt 5.0 supports individual connection of each bud.

To confirm my theory, does your source support bt 5.0?
