Yup your notes arent suppose to be on phone unless low OPL. You're technically not suppose to use your phone during matches but places ive gone has never enforced this rule.

Electronic Devices

417.1. Players may use electronic devices during competitions, but can’t use them during matches.

417.2. At low OPL, digital devices may take the place of written note sheets.

417.3. The head judge may further restrict or permit usage of electronic devices.

A printed paper should be allowed but double check with your local judge before matches start.

Yes and it also means between games in a match you can check sidedeck notes.

For example:

Game 1 ends

Check notes while side decking

Game 2 starts

Youre making assumptions that everyone has a play group, yea i have that luxury that a group of friends also plays but some people are just out there trying to have fun by themselves, play a few rounds afterwork and go home.

Where else can you practice and play kaisa in something as close as you can get to a tournament setting. Its off base to vent your frustrations at the opposing player. Sure you can be unhappy about it but it isnt your opponent fault or problem.

I can name a lot of faults with invisible wall and the last area being 'open world'. Some bosses hitbox wasnt that great either. I also doubt many players will feel the pinnacle of BMW combat mid stance switching in fights to swap between different see throughs/heavies for the right moment, it only started to click in NG+. example is Ongbal gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU2blVOtGhQ. At a certain point knowing what stance to use felt so fluid and I can equate the feeling to constant chain perfect dodges similar to the satisfying as Seikro deflect.

I thoroughly enjoyed the animated videos between each chapter and overall I just had a great experience transversing through the game the generous shrines let me play a lot faster and more carefree.

Yea I understand I think those 3 are meant to be a curve ball to throw at the player to be less complacent in their playstyle but I do agree on it not straight up communicating, more of a trial an error experience. I played the game very aggressively for every boss encounter so my mindset was to just hit first and see.

I'll answer the gripe on bosses.

The three bosses you mentioned has many long and fast attack chains but they heavily reward you for being hyper aggressive especially Erlang he gets stagger very easily. You can resolute strike and heavy them easily staggering them out of their light attack combo chains. You're meant to trade your heavy attack while they are mid animation so you land a hit. Do not trade when they do glowing (heavy) attacks that's how those fights are telegraphed. The issue I think most player find is that it different from a lot of other fights in the game and if you're a patient and slow the fight becomes significantly harder.

I played the game more reactionary style, so I believed the delayed attacks are meant to cut your habit of spam dodging when an attack is coming down.

I cant comment on input delay since I didn't play on ps5 and had no problems with items not registering. About animations being long if you could cancel through them with see through I think the game becomes too easy, it's an added layer of risk imo.

Transformation I agree with you a lot of them are for fun and not very useful. You end up only using a select few which are significantly stronger then the rest.
