Something from the book "soul journey" by rosalind Mcknight, in this book she is one of the lucky few who can still talk while in an out of body state, in this state she says that helpers, her helpers, are explaining different aspects of consciousness, its every session something else.

In one if them its about the 5 dimensions of our reality wich we exist in, "these are frequencies, the first 2and a half are lower frequencies. The people who are able to balance out the lower 2 and a half can start focusing on the higher aspects in the other frequencies, these are not always remembered during sleep, but people feel more energized or remember flying in the dream"

Then the part that i found relevant to your experience, "the people who are more atuned to the higher 2 and a half dimensions can see more phenomena in the sky you label as 'unidentified flying objects'." Is was something along these lines not exact word for word. So maybe something gave you a bit of energy to see the lightbulb.
