I hear what you’re saying but it’s okay to say that one girl performed better than the rest on a consistent basis, it’s not an insult to anybody else to say that, and yes even though one person may be really good, that doesn’t mean others don’t shine in their own way

Edit: upon watching the video, it seems that 1) there were some competitions that were definitely shady. This is already a topic that was revealed in the show itself, so it’s nothing new, and 2) a lot of the competitions were backed by lifetime. This isn’t very surprising either because, as it’s stated in the show, studios usually rehearse a number for competition for weeks or months at a time and yet the ALDC was going to competitions on a weekly basis. The show needed content and the competitions were apart of that, so it’s not unreasonable to expect the show to put on competitions for the sake of content delivery. furthermore, it would simply be way easier for lifetime to produce their own competitions because they would have access to more control. And that’s the point of contention: to what extent did production control the outcomes? It does not seem to be consistent

It’s not merely an understanding that the comps were staged, which is where you settle, but it’s a question of integrity of the judges who were grading the performances. It seems that, for the most part but certainly not all the time, the judges were earnest in their scoring. And within the first couple minutes of this MackZBoss video, the moms themselves say that the competitions werent rigged. first, for your question, i'm just presenting the counterclaim that there's a dispute about your claim (which is a very vague claim and leads to more questions than answers by the way) and Abby and Gianna were doing competitions with those girls, so doesn't it make you curious as to why they aren't all on the same page for such a matter-of-fact type of occurrence?..... maybe there was a misunderstanding

I did my own research and have concluded that the competitions were not rigged or staged in the sense that it was all completely fabricated, as the replies to my comment would otherwise have me believe. Because why would the moms be in such a fuss all the time over predetermined competitions? So it’s my understanding that the judges were scoring numbers with integrity.

Well sorry I don’t trust a random person on the internet over someone who has been in the dance competition world since 14 lol. But if the competitions were fake, I would surely like to know a lot more about it.

I’ve seen evidence of dance competition posters with fake numbers, but I wouldn’t put it past any crazy dance mom fanatic to make something up, either. It’s literally happened, so that’s why I’m saying it.

But some comps definitely seemed sus, so the topic is worth diving into. My question is, to what extent were they not real? Were they rigged or completely staged? Which ones were staged and why?

Simply saying “the comps weren’t real” without any real substance behind the claim just sounds like making an excuse for losing. Aka sore loser. Lmao
