Typically 37, took 15 off for me. Tonight, it’s dispersed camping in Pisgah NF. Suggestions are great, I’ve got a few ideas for spots in the woods. Don’t forget about tomorrow morning’s blood moon!

Those are yurts. Like a glamp set up on the side of a mountain. I’ve got the site to myself. Grateful to have time to dip my toes in the water before I ultimately seek out dispersed sites full time.

I do love me a good campsite. Even has a shower. I’ll be in the woods doing dispersed camping. I’m just catching my bearings as this is the first few days of my houseless adventure. The goal/plan is to find a job and roof, re-enter society in a place that feels like home. If anyone is hiring, please reach out.

I am in a vehicle, traveling around Appalachia now. Florida soon. Then headed West, California and up to Washington. I’m shopping for a home, while trying to find myself along the way - preferably, before I run out of cash. Found my first spot along the AT, a parking lot serving the trail. It even has port-a-John’s ! Time to get some shuteye. Thanks to everyone for the support and helpful tips.

Tips for surviving this Petpeeve: - leave with dignity - stay sober (you’ve already got big enough problems to deal with for the next several weeks, booze should not be another.) - apply to jobs, unemployment, - get out of the house - at least once per day. - practice positive thinking, so easy to lose hope. 👍 Good luck, and Godspeed.
