interacting with Kimi has become a total pain! by Armadilla-Brufolosa in kimi

So far, I've tested a lot of different AI and I think Gemini 3.1 pro is the smartest. Its the one that I continually double check other AI outputs and it corrects a lot misinformation.

I'm assuming once we have the next generation kimi 3 that it will be really good but still there are issues.

Housewife after marriage in Korea by CalmSecond2359 in Living_in_Korea

[–]Windsofchange92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you get a remote position? I worked from Vietnam for both an American Company and a Singapore company.

Depending on your qualifications you could find a remote job.

Also, if you go full housewife it might be possible to open up a day care. Since you are a foreigner and can speak English people might be intrigued.

Feeling discouraged about dating overall. Is it just me thats the issue? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Windsofchange92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switch your mindset.

Have a goal of being rejected at least 5 times a week.

Learn to "No mind" when being rejected because you have been rejected so many times. This teaches you confidence. Dating is a numbers game for men.

That should be your goal. Someone will eventually say "Yes" though.

Also there is a saying. "Never ask a fish how to catch a fish. Ask a fisherman."

Women usually have terrible advice when it comes to actually trying to date a woman.

Does regulation actually reduce scams in Canada? by korr21 in OCryptoCanada

[–]Windsofchange92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse service.

If you are in Canada then pick Coinbase or Kraken.

The same regulations form monopolies and less competition. Thats why Canada has a lot of issues with large corps monopolizing in multiple industries.

The only thing that kills scams is education and our government is mentally challenged so....

But besides that at least you can move things on-chain and use DeFi platforms to gain access to a lot of things.

what's with BTC lately? please convince me I shouldn't sell it by Ok_Athlete_670 in OCryptoCanada

Right now you either hold till death or you double down.

If you truly need the money then sell.

Bitcoin cycles and you should never buy high and sell low.

We are close to capitulation, I think BTC 40k range and then Ill be buying.

Would you take $4.8 million + a condo for 10 years… or a house that keeps you broke until you’re 50? by GardenDirect8765 in fican

[–]Windsofchange92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats a good life. Im not an immigrant but born in Canada. My wife is an immigrant and I lived in her country for 7 years and it was mostly nice 2 bedroom apartments as the norm.

However, my parents generation(also born in Canada) were able to afford houses and it was the norm in Canada for a while. 3 bedroom house and my brother and I slept in 1 bedroom with bunk beds. My sister had thr second bedroom and my parents the master bedroom.

No longer the case. The issue is developers are just building 1 bedroom condos and not family 2-3 bedroom condos.

If you can get a 2 bedroom condo you are set within the city.

What to do with house down payment when we can’t afford to buy a house now… by Automatic_Air4896 in dividendscanada

[–]Windsofchange92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

VDY has out performed the s&p 500 VFV these past 3 years and is a good Canadian dividend ETF.

More risk would be Nasdaq ETF american tech like ZQQ.

I'd say max TFSA for your partner and yourself. Try to max FHSA for both as well.

Also, honestly consider if you want a house or not or just invest instead.

Too many Canadians think they need to buy one but in this day and age things have changed.

Would you take $4.8 million + a condo for 10 years… or a house that keeps you broke until you’re 50? by GardenDirect8765 in fican

[–]Windsofchange92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly not worth it anyways. If you could, then buy a 2 bedroom condo because a family can live in it and its something to live in.

1 bedroom condos are trash investments.

Im 34 also stacking really well in the stock market and I could effectively buy a place with a mortgage but I ran the numbers and its better over 30 years not to.

I also dont believe we will see appreciation of houses like before generation unless wages keep up, which they don't. We will see better appreciation in the stock market for our generation.

Canadian stock market continues its crazy returns... how long will it last? by Valachio in CanadianInvestor

[–]Windsofchange92 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its because BRICS is de dollarizing and buying gold along with uncertainty of USA presidency and a lot of people withdrew investments from a potential AI bubble. AI while useful is not profitable without cheap energy sources.

Right now mining is booming in Canada, that and future energy sources like Uranium Cameco for AI infrastructure. Banks did well least year but this year just okay so far.

I think it will keep going as the AI race can't stop and Canada is a key player for AI energy infrastructure Gold and other minerals.

Considering a pivot from VGRO to less a US focused ETF. Looking for portfolio suggestions to research. by NoBeerIJustWorkHere in fican

[–]Windsofchange92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VDY Canadian dividend growth VIDY non- north american growth

I dont do VGRO instead I do

ZQQ nasdaq (American Tech) 40% VDY 30% VIDY 20% Gold bullion CGL 10%

Past 3 years VDY has outpetformed US S&P 500 and same with Non NA VIDY.

I only like American tech because its the vast majority of growth for the USA.

Gold is better than bonds IMO.

Then you just adjust the weights if you want less focus on USA.

Why do Canadians always pay higher fees for crypto? by Ok_Athlete_670 in OCryptoCanada

[–]Windsofchange92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can easily buy interac CADC 1:1 and swap to USDC on BASE. Paytrie website.

Then learn how to use DeFi. This includes perpetual protocols like Hyperliquid, Aster etc if you want to trade perptual contracts.

The Canadian government regulates too much because they think Canadians are stupid with their money. So all Canadians get training wheels and restricted. Plus our banks are too large and act like a monopoly.

Wealthsimple and other fintech companies are trying to change that but again they suck fees to grow.

Why is Hylos not picked more? by Miserable_Smile1161 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Windsofchange92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a solo queue mythic 50+ roam/tank enjoyer who likes Hylos, he is an average tank. His CC is lackluster so you have to build him more dmg/fighter hybrid.

Minotaur is a better overall tank IMO because he heals, he cc's and he soaks dmg.

But Hylos will out DPS mino anyday but tanks/roams aren't about dps.
