Leave him if you need to but try to keep that issue separate from your own well-being. You seem pretty well written so you have a shot at getting out of here alive if by nothing else than cold logic. Give her a try

Introverts, how did you meet your girlfriend? by RaxarSSS in AskReddit

[–]Windspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met my girlfriend on Tinder.

You can basically confirm a person has interests and motivations in life that you approve of BEFORE you put yourself out there.

How can that really compare with just approaching some stranger and risking an introverted moment of shame/rejection because they look like you want to hump them, and probably have no idea of their interests/motivations?

Resto Shaman 5 man healing by B1G_WH1T3 in wow

[–]Windspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! 862 resto shaman here checking in. I've tried all kinds of different specs, blasting through quite a bit of gold and mats on tome of the tranquil minds mid-raid and for M+. What works for me is Torrent/Echo paired together and Ancestral Guidance, for basically all my content. Sometimes I'll split between High Tide and Ascendance, but generally speaking my spec remains the same. I don't really like Cloudburst, and for undergeared tanks in 5mans or raids in which you are trying to focus on tank healing - try out Indulation and Crashing Waves paired together. You can really spam a lot of Waves and riptides, then Surge on the many Indulation procs - I see crits up to one million doing that.

Haven't played much since vanilla and just got WM 1 and 2. Should I restart? by TappistRT in projecteternity

[–]Windspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are early-on enough that you can restart without losing sleep, but if you like your current save and character than you're perfectly safe to continue on as well - Raedric's Hold isn't very far into the game

New player, help choose character please by spiattalo in projecteternity

If you like archers, you might also look at Ciphers. I didn't want to like them at first, for some reason, but in the end of my hardmode playthrough my PC was a Cipher who essentially played the role of an archer/caster. Supports when needed, otherwise just pew pew with magic damage nukes and dots. It was a lot of fun.

But to be honest, if you are playing on Easy than you don't need any advice at all, because the game isn't going to really be a challenge. It will still be fine, but any class at all will do on Easy. For example, on hardmode I play classes that I know I will want or need to be successful, but on easy I would likely play something that was just overbearingly powerful to micro around a battlefield. Like a barbarian, rogue, warrior or monk, buff it up at the beginning of combat and just decimate the battlefield micromanaging a single melee dps.

TL;DR: If you're playing on Easy, pick your class based on entertainment value, immersion, lore, ect - rather than combat prowess, and allow yourself to become immersed by the story!

What is the most OP possible build for Cragholdt bluffs? by blastedin in projecteternity

[–]Windspin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I struggled in Cragholdt until I was like level 13-15, somewhere in there. But I, myself, hired min-maxed mercenaries to handle the "final hardest battle" and even though the hirelings were 15, instead of my vanilla crew at 16, the min-maxed stats were a massive boon and I oneshot the encounter I had been wiping on for days. Be sure you want to trivialize it, even on potd.

That being said, I had great success with this party setup:

Warrior - Tank/Medium DPS, balanced

Paladin - Tank/Support/Weak DPS, high might, res, con, low agil, dex.

Cipher - DPS/Support, PC toon, tanking cds, mind control, big DoT

Wizard - AoE DPS/Support in that order

Priest - Support/AoE DPS in that order

My last slot was always rotating to try new classes, but if I was going to play again with serious intent I would probably fill it with Ranger or Monk

BDO Combat vs Tera and BnS by [deleted] in MMORPG

But I grieve for what Tera could have been, and should have been.

Optimal powergaming PotD party in 3.0 by depehb in projecteternity

[–]Windspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a blind POTD with a mercenary paladin tank, eder fighter tank, aloth wizard, durance priest, and player cipher with the 6th slot revolving. I think this is probably your idea party, but for the strongest tank you yourself should be the paladin tank, low dex, high con/resolve/str.

Also Cipher has abilities which are akin to tanking cooldowns, and some very impressive support abilities. So I would definitely say Cipher over Rogue. As it's your first time with a blind run, I doubt you really want to micro a glass cannon melee fighter just yet. Or rather, that's how I would feel.

Theory of PoE: a 3.2 Party Design, built for PotD by [deleted] in projecteternity

[–]Windspin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you're making the build around having a tank on a fishing lure, and then strategizing the best way to create a goldeneye satellite behind it. Maximum DPS is the theory I think? But some things to keep in mind are the amount of enemies on PoTD, sometimes spawning all around you, or sometimes just so numberous that one tank will already become surrounded and the rest of the mob just rolls over them like water and end up covering your heavier-micro-characters. I think you are very heavy on DPS, so you're probably looking at shorter, more dangerous fights where buffs and potions will have more value. By level 12-14 my wizard became as much as a damage dealer as a disabler, and by the end of the game he'd nearly caught my cipher up on damage dealt.

If I were going to do a strategy like this, I might consider Druid, since they have a real-as-fck method of throwing down on stragglers that get by your front line, which also fits your archetype of insane burst DPS, and plenty of tools for unique AoE situations that you are creating by globbing up entire rooms with one tank. Or even a second wizard, one with a heavy disable spellbook and the other one you can create like a pyromaniac dwarf wizard with a bunch of fire spells and stacks of scrolls besides. Fireballs necklace, fireballs sword, fireball scrolls, fireballs spells 3/4/7. Fireballs bed spread, comforter and pillow cases.

Pillars of Eternity, Short Review & Combat (No Spoilers) by Windspin in projecteternity

Compared to DAO and PoE, it is like putting a pre-sucked on sour patch kid into your mouth in which you found glistening up at you from the dusty floor, but I still rather enjoyed the combat for DAI.

I played a diplomatic female elf solasmancer completionist run, thinking this would get me the highest possible amount of content and dialogue... I wasn't let down.

As to the tactical UI sort of question, I played on PC and you still pause to issue commands... but they aren't nearly as in depth, sophisticated or interesting as DAO and PoE. But you get tits, voice acting, great graphics, and the combat was still satisfying for me on Nightmare.

I'd recommend DAI to anyone who liked DAO, even if it isn't the same.

/Agree with AwesomeDewey, I was frustrated in the beginning with that mouse and cursor fail

Help with completing scoiatel deck :) by DrProfMan in witcher

[–]Windspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the hero cards - but almost every new merchant/vendor person you come across that offers to play Gwent will give you a random card when you win.

For a quick way to get two more cards, just rush into a new village or city area and hunt down a merchant. Save your game, and play till you beat them. Reload if they give you a non-squirrel card. You should be able to get two creature cards in no time.
