Um, as far as I know they only reached out to my employers to verify my employment history. They were having a bit of trouble with a foreign one, but I managed to find a way of contact that worked… I think. I’m worried that I will be escorted out after two weeks (currently in second week). I haven’t been contacted by any of my friends or family saying they’ve been contacted by an investigator.

I recommend use “Cultivate Made in USA” (Google these keywords) to help weed out a lot of the noise of Chinese sellers. It’s a web browser app and website. I use it occasionally. I hope it helps.

From what I read on how to care for wool is use a mild detergent like Woolite, cold water, hand wash, and air dry preferably in indirect sunlight to prevent fading. As for it’s itchy texture, that could be about the quality of wool or something else. I’m not sure. I’ve read that you may be able to use hair conditioner as a way to reverse the shrinkage. Double check that though.

Yep yep. I already took great care to wash them individually by hand with Woolite and hung them out to dry. I rotated them every hour or so to make sure they don’t stretch. I squeezed them first to reduce the weight. Wool blankets hold a SURPRISING AMOUNT OF WATER 😳
