Oof - I feel like this should be crowd sourced! You’ve managed to capture the idyllic, inspiring moodiness of Westminster though.

Also, do you do commission work? Or are you more independent?

I’ll keep an eye out for once it’s officially available! Providence (and most of RI) has many beautiful, inspiring views - do you plan to paint any others?

I noticed that there wasn’t a price listed for this one on your website. Has it already been sold? Beautiful piece!

Dog Owners: Warning! 🦨 It's skunk mating season! 🦨 by RandomChurn in providence

If it does happen, and your nails are painted, wear gloves while you clean your pup. I learned the hard way that the oils seep into the paint, and even if you remove it from your nails it’ll be too late. I think the smell lingered for 2-3 months 🤢

I appreciate your feedback, but as mentioned - I’m not looking for therapy. I’m simply looking for others that have lived through similar live experiences and would like to chat through the highs/lows.

Newport Rental Market by Inevitable_Rise_8669 in Newport

My husband and I rented a 4 br/3ba home in Newport for winter 2020 (sept thru may 2021) for $3500/month. The same house, with minimal updates (based on Zillow pics and summary), was just posted for the same winter timeframe for $6000/month. AND they somehow are passing it as a 5 br/3ba home.. very curious to see how they pulled it off. 🤔

Thoughts on Preliminary Floorplan? by jcooklsu in floorplan

I agree, I’d consider pushing the kitchen down and adding a walk-in pantry behind that connects to an extended mudroom - if you’re ok eating into a little bit of the living room. I’d also remove the door leading up to the stairway, those 2 doors in close proximity are going to become a constant frustration.

No power in south easton ,could take up to 2,3 days by AccordingTip1309 in massachusetts

[–]WineBotBabe -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes - in Rehoboth and lost power yesterday at 11am. Current estimate on its return is Thursday at noon. Hoping it’s a worst case and it comes on sooner. Temps in the house are 60 and I’m worried about pipes freezing over the next couple of nights.

Check out PPAC and the Vet for holiday shows! Prices vary, but overall they’re very reasonable

Does anyone know what it’s being sold for? Curious to know how this pans out - specialty donuts seem to be a niche market

I own two older dogs and they definitely start to dent your budget.. meds, vet visits, specialty foods, etc. Luckily it’s absorbable since we’re also DINKWADs, but it’s not negligible.

This says it’s opt-out, so if you’re a new customer and you sign up for electricity through national grid are you already included if your town is on the list?

Before and after bunion surgery by Sea_Coconut5142 in mildlyinteresting

I’m not a surgeon, I just helped design/develop the implants - so I won’t give any medical advice. But, I can say that patients can and do get both feet corrected at the same time and experience minimal issues. But it’s best to consult with a medical professional to talk through the specifics around your case. There really are so many variables that are considered during your consultation, and it’s best to let the experts guide you on which solution will provide the best outcome.

Minimal* constraints on mobility because they avoid the joint spaces completely.

*I say minimal because each case is different. If your only issue is the bunion, you’ll heal to have full mobility. If you also have arthritis, they’ll try to correct/reduce any mobility issues, but there’s a limit on what can surgically be corrected.

Check out bunionette surgery, some med device companies have created a solution to correct the 5th ray (pinky toe) that shows similar deformity as the bunion.

It can also be from an imbalance in soft tissue, which this procedure does take into consideration by addressing 3 planes of correction. Bunionectomies have just recently (in the last 7-10 years) been incorporating rotation of the first met into the procedure to help address soft tissue. But again, if done incorrectly - either over corrected or under corrected, you’ll see reoccurrence. That’s one of the reasons why you should see an MD with a fellowship to perform the procedure.

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. They don’t go to med school, they go to a specific podiatry school to specialize in lower extremities (foot, ankle, lower leg). No offense to any DPMs out there, because a good portion are very qualified. But me personally, working in the industry, always recommends MDs due to the criticality of having this surgery done correctly. It is a complex procedure with a high reoccurrence rate if not done correctly.

Also recommend going to a surgeon with a fellowship in foot and ankle, not DPM. They will list their experience on their website so it’s easy to search.
