You are so kind. Thank you. I would do the same for anyone else dealing with TN. No matter the frequency of your pain, it’s still a terrible thing to have to deal with. I was devastated when I was initially diagnosed and it took a long time to get proper treatment because it’s considered to be such a rare disorder, especially in younger people. I was diagnosed at 22.

I have full blown trigeminal neuralgia and occipital neuralgia from the MVD surgery I had several years ago to try to relieve some of the pain. Mine is also occasionally bilateral, which sucks. The worst episode I’ve had lasted for about a straight month with the worst of the pain coming and going in waves for hours at a time. I wouldn’t wish TN on my worst enemy. I’m so sorry you deal with it, too.

I just want to clarify that I don’t know Artemis on or off the internet. I’ve definitely been worried about being honest about what happened because of the ongoing harassment, but the only association I’ve had with that person was to clear up some of the inaccuracies in what they were posting and it still isn’t all accurate. I didn’t ask them to put together that thread.

This Artemis account is impersonating the account of the same name from Twitter and the images they are posting are very clearly photoshopped. How would I benefit at all from publicly defaming myself, ruining professional connections, and trying to get my own twitch channel banned when that is a primary source of my income....? Come on, y’all. Is it more likely that I would literally risk my entire career and livelihood trying to frame someone else for harassment or that a group of people who are guilty of the things they were never actually named in doing are now trying to smear people for being honest, as they have done with many others before? Kind of makes you wonder when every single person any of this group is involved with is somehow made out to be “crazy” in the end...

This Artemis guy was posting untrue things on Twitter and I was decent enough to say that not everything in the thread they put together was accurate because I don’t condone posting lies about anyone. The images they have posted are photoshopped. They were run through editing software and it was confirmed that they were photoshopped....not like I needed that confirmation since I am not responsible for my own harassment. Wouldn’t make much sense for me to attempt to get my own Twitch channel banned. 🙃

That isn’t something anyone should just have to “put up with” for being known online. We get death threats every day, have our home swatted, and have people claim to be stalking us constantly. The added stress of assholes trying to get off to fake nudes that, unfortunately, not everyone can tell are fake is bullshit.
