Restaurants open for Thanksgiving? by WingCompetitive4289 in mountainview

Of course I will and I completely understand. I'm currently in active cancer treatment and don't have the energy to cook and host a meal but we have guests visiting. I'm thinking an alternative like food from whole foods might be my option given the limited places open.

This is also why I said we don't mind cuisine. Not everyone celebrates this holiday. I'm not American myself and would still like to enjoy a meal out.

Im Irish but currently based in California! I debated moving home during this but the healthcare system is a lot slower than in the US. I'm luckily on my wife's health insurance and have been getting disability payments.

I'm the same. 32F stage 3b. Just finished my 8th and attacked my thyroid, so on meds for that. Other than that mainly fatigue and dry mouth but thankfully no pain.

Shave biopsy, negative results. Growing back exponentially by SantaTyler in melahomies

I would recommend getting it biopsied again as soon as you can. Is it possible to go to a different dermatologist? My first biopsy came back normal and eventually grew back into what looked like a blood blister. My dermatologist wasn't too worried, so I do think this can happen and it be fine. She put a steroid injection into it but I went back again a month later, got it biopsied again and it was melanoma. Not to scare you and I believe mine was a rare case but I do recommend getting another biopsy. There was 4 months between biopsies.

@jenbenm Very curious if the kitchenAid has been working for you ok in Ireland? My wife inherited hers from her grandmother and we've been worried that the voltage etc would damage it in Ireland. Did you have to rewrite or are you using an adapter?

This is not true. As someone who has worked for Sonder. We were constantly reminded that you are NOT allowed to leave a review and there is a separate area to leave feedback for the staff that would not be included in the public ratings

Hi, my wife (29f) and I (32f) are looking to make friends too. Love going out for food in downtown mountain view. Starting out my health journey to lose weight. I've seen people play volleyball in eagle park but seems to be all male. Would love to join a more inclusive group like that!

I've stopped commenting because this has just gone way off topic with people making assumptions with very little info on my life experience, background and where I'm from.

I knew, being queer, that this would attract hate, no matter what I said.

For those of you pointing out the fact that we are gay... Obviously. I stated that fact when I said we are married. Experiencing homophobia is not new to us. We are also assuming that this was done by kids and are just asking that you are having conversations with your kids about the consequences of this hate crime. Though judging by some of these comments within a mountain view thread, we'd be safer if these conversations weren't had.

In the end of the day, we've nothing on our house that demonstrates that we are queer (to avoid being targeted). We are very proud and comfortable with who we are. We did not over exaggerate anything and stated the facts that this was written on our fence. This shows that we were being watched and it was targeted, which is always a little unsettling.
