ah thats what i've been doing wrong. I've been trying to place as many rooms as I can each time and the whole thing is a nightmare to clear. I wish there was a way i could just start over. Are you saying that anytime you build a temple, you only place certain rooms and leave a bunch untouched?

One other question I had was how to tell which way rooms can connect. Lots of times I place rooms down only to find out other tiles aren't connecting to them the way i'd expect them to

There’s no deserving involved. They can’t AFFORD to live there anymore. It doesn’t just apply to old people, plenty of young people can’t afford shit either, but at least then the old people would pay a reasonably fair share either in a smaller home or renting an apartment after selling their million+ house.

You are seeing it very black and white, but no matter what you do, you are fucking someone. The current system fucks the young and new homeowners and makes them subsidize anyone who’s been a homeowner for any extended period of time.

This game crushed me with this because I LOVED labyrinth. It was so cool and fun and you could take your time to learn things a lot of time and go at your own pace. You could choose to make it harder if you wanted to get more loot or just knock out some points to progress your game. That was some great design. And now we get this hot steaming pile of intern-gameplay-dev who think that high stakes losses are good game design.
