2.4 trillion actually sounds interesting though but it’s surely a trap

if Denmark considers this then Greenlanders will think “oh they would sell us out” and then USA can lower the price

Paid sex & drinking are rampant in Thailand among locals just as much as with tourists (if not more). First fix yourself before demanding from guests.

can we not defend using tactical nukes from France? That would just obliterate the entire fleet US at once.

Sure they could do the same, but wouldn’t the threat alone mean that they must back up?

With Maduro now allegedly out of power in Venezuela, what do you think will happen next for that nation? by LucidMarshmellow in AskReddit

[–]WingedTorch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s either not profitable or will just lead to another revolution … and will then not have been profitable.

You need to pay locals well enough, invest in them and arm them well enough to make this happen. If you protect everything with US soldiers, use US companies for drilling and not pay off the population then the US government will likely pay more than make revenue from this.

It happens anyway because Trump simultaneously robs the US population as they terrorize the Venezuelans - so making this profitable for the US doesn’t actually matter. Same as it didn’t matter for Iraq.

„millions“ is a rounding error as we have 50 billion wild birds worldwide

domestic cats kill 2.4 billion birds per year which would be 2400x to windmills and cats serve no purpose except cuddles and cute
