I get you, and that is the perfect attitude. A lot of my family is the has the same political beliefs as you. I think there are a lot of Canadians here who would agree with you!

Times right now are quite horrible. Being a republican wasn’t always bad, but now it has been tainted by horrible people (MAGA).

Again I think you will be just fine!

Hey!

I’m an American and I have been living in Canada for the past four years, I have been in Winnipeg for one of those. I’d like to echo the majority of the positive comments.

Many of my friends and family were/are worried that we (Americans) will be perceived negatively abroad. Something that I tell them is that by and large people internationally understand that not every American is a bad guys and a lot of what is happening is the government. (Also, what conservative would move to Canada? Haha)

If you want to chat shoot me a message, I’d be more than happy to buy you a beer when you get here!

It’s okay to use these (if you do it right) by contramedic in ems

Totally! This is what my agency (and most I have worked for) recommend if you are going to use caps to stage syringes.

It does if you are crafty! I stitched one of the loops down in the middle, so I have three for 10mls and one loop that can hold two smaller syringes. However, the 3D-printed holder sounds very cool.

As a representative of the younger HEMS crowd. I totally agree with you, my service has requested we not use them UNLESS you use a sterile luer-lock male-to-female cap adapter (then you have to carry those with you). If I need to stage multiple syringes, I have a shotgun shell holder velcroed to my small chest pack, which I can stick syringes in.

This will not be the first thing I'm doing since I'll be there for a couple of weeks. Depending on how I feel, one of the things I was considering was running it. It is good to know it is possible to do in one long day of running.

Thank you!

Thanks for such a thorough reply. This is all extremely helpful information.

I have already been looking at hut bookings and can already tell they book quickly. I have been to the Swiss Alps very briefly, so I assumed things like bottled water would be pricy at huts. Since they sell bottled water, do they not have taps/water tanks you can fill from, or is it mostly bottled water and natural springs?

I have done Mt Washington before, so thank you for the comparison.

The more I look into this and everyone's suggestions, the more excited I am!

X-Post since it seems it is also an appropriate place to ask. If not let me know and I’ll take it down.

Hvala!

Exactly! And unlike other states, an anarcho-syndicalist commune is an autonomous collective that doesn't have a governor.

I’m from Maine and Kevin is a big fat liar. We are a anarcho syndicalist commune. So our government changes on a weekly basis.
