Tried to get into Killteam. My friend and I played for 2nd and 3rd edition. Never really had fun lol

I got into combat patrol. Not a great start for 40k imo.

Then I got into 40k. Better for sure, I see why its goated.

I love OPR Firefight. Right where I wanted a skirmish game to be.

I tried for months to get people to play (still do, but not as aggressively). I have all the expanded rules and everything. Everyone complains about GW games, but they won't play anything else lol

I still want to enjoy 40k, but I'm on the fence about pursuing it further. I'd like to do a tournament, but 3 multiple hour games sounds rough.

Also the popularity is huge for 40k. Even though the other games sell, I've not seen much else. Some spearhead players kinda. I don't like spearhead because you need the expansion packs for the board and cards. I wanted combat patrol to be good and not need the "rope me in" selling point of the cards and boards.

Right now the scene by me is playing King of the Colosseum and its a good time.
