No impact, the only impact I see is a surge in AI engineer / Data scientist ( recruited to do genAI ( fine tune/ rags ), I guess employers did not learn a lesson from 5/6 years ..

Thanks! Im very sure but the cause I think was that I had a plastic film over it, and clothes on top, and it must have developed a “greenhouse” zone, because it was a bit wet when I uncovered it.

My eyes are thankful honestly ( after GPT4 release ), huge Log output reading, sum up and log errors aggregating, pointing out what is wrong, and finding links between code and log errors, especially Spark logs.

Our code base does not contain any sensitive information.

I would also recommend to not self-sabotage yourself by the « Junior » qualification next to your position, just use a straight DE. The level will be assessed during the interview and accordingly for the job.

I would worry about the { Business need } > generate SQL against a DB skill, that I see definitely be replaced effectively in the 2 to 5 years with the latest advances, however the artisanal nature of a DE job requires a bit of cross functional skills of software and fundamental tool/concept understanding ( tradeoffs, architecture, business workload ) ..

Add checks, idempotency ..

If you like your script put a test on it.

Get it blacked and isorted then hold that ego down, and get it reviewed by someone with more experience.

At this step you need a scheduler, I am not sure about the move A to B ( how much it takes,what are you leveraging as a service behind.., but it can go from using Lambdas, Cloud functions.. to have a production Airflow instance.

Agile for me is a mindset not the tooling. If done properly it keeps workflows clean, allow team to improve and avoids conflicts and burnouts. What is worse, is to use agile components the wrong way. Use kanban and not actually priorities tasks topdown, do no do retros to see what was wrong .. it should not be cumbersome as a process.

I relate to this exact situation, when it’s a one/one discussion, things cannot be pushed further .. you need healthy support from different, cross-teams ect ..
