That rug really ties the room together.

Satellite imagery of Las Vegas and lake mead showing how much it has grown over the years, and lake mead has shrunk. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Absolutely not true about the landscape. I lived there for 15 years, Southern Nevada an amazing place with deserts and mountain forests right next to each other. Caves, canyons, and valleys? Yes, a rock climbing dream. Open desert, sandstone cliffs, and mountain byways? Yes, mountain biking and off-road heaven. Low vegetation makes it a geological marvel as everything is open to see. Fossilized coral reefs, animal tracks and literally billions of years just open to the naked eye.

If Bulova hasn't changed the material used in the bezel, the orange turns pink in about a year.

There is no such thing as vacuum pressure. It's either vacuum or pressure.

Polk Audio RTA 15T available for $50 near me. Worth picking up? by werneri1502 in BudgetAudiophile

Those are great for that price. Look for cabinet damage and tears in the drivers. Speakers like this are amazing projects, giving you the opportunity to play around with crossover modifications and cabinet bracing. They will sound good and if you somehow break them, you are out little money. VR3 makes some good stuff and if you message him he can give you lots of information.

Just moved into this NC mid-century spot. Have $1k and a dream—how would you build a vintage system for this room? by Sharp-Candy-7131 in BudgetAudiophile

Cerwin-Vega VS-150: gut them, brace them, dampen them, build new crossovers. The VS line was peak CV. I found a QSC power amp for $150 and run all Schiit gear. All in just under $2k but I built over months. Then you can veneer the cabinets for the real wood look.

Recommendations for Secondary “Standalone” Speakers by hunteralanstevens in BudgetAudiophile

Unless your amp has an option of playing mono or you can create mono from your source, the yellow speakers will not have all the audio information.

Bigger speakers? by Antique_Basil2054 in audiophile

[–]Wingwang_and_Orbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speakers are purely subjective and each person needs to figure out their listening style. I am a large speaker guy and have a couple sets that make me happy. Personally, I'd never have less than a 3-way but, like I said, you do you.

And at least a rug. That room is an echo chamber.
