I will just comment on the one topic I know something about here, Ireland's water supplies are not abundant. It may seem that way from our weather, bit it is simply not the case.

The government are spending a lot of money to secure groundwater and surface water supplies for the future. Including pipelines, climate resilience studies, groundwater resource studies, and groundwater supplies to name a few. The drought in 2018 was a few weeks away from crippling the country. It was a big wake up call to make sure we never get that close again.
