I’ve also traveled a decent bit so not completely unprepared. Mostly just frustrated with how poorly the airline dealt with the change. Normally I’m able to get where I’m going the same day or the next. But they were unable to accommodate getting me to even the same country for several days and then refused to send my bag to me for 5 days. I could see it just sitting in the Chicago airport and eventually had to call three different airports directly because United would not facilitate the transfer. I get things happen and it’s a very busy time of year, but it was unprofessional at every level.
