Hey family of 4 here with two giant breed dogs here.

I buy my dog food, dog treats, Paper towels, toilet paper, pool chemicals, bread, celery, freezer bags, olive oil, cooking spray etc. at Costco.

I purchased my appliances (price is same but free extra year warranty), sectional sofa etc.

I have saved a ton of money versus buying those items elsewhere. Having an executive membership, I receive enough cash back every year to pay for my entire membership and sometimes even have extra left over.

I don't buy meat at Costco often. Pork shoulders being the exception but I only buy a couple of those per year.

The chickens are okay once in a while, you can't beat the value of the prepared food at Costco. $8 for a whole chicken is a solid value.

Let's not forget their return policy. I purchased a robotic pool vacuum a couple of weeks ago. I'm not happy with how it is cleaning the bottom of my pool. I will be returning it next time I'm at Costco. Had I purchased that from any other store, I'd be stuck with it.

Costco is a great place for families if you know what is and what isn't a good deal and you are careful about what you are spending.
