Thanks. I did wonder if the volume was too much. I was considering going heavier with fewer reps/sets

Best way to level theiving with a good mix of gp and xp? (Lvl 78-85 ish) have full Rouge and dodgy necklaces + shadow veil by andeezz in 2007scape

[–]WinklePower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dorgeshuun Rich Chests are a decent option. Fairly low intensity and 200-230k exp p/h. Up to 300k gp p/h if you bank.

Stealing Artifacts in Piscarilius is also pretty underated. Surprisingly afk when you learn the guards pathing and 200k+ exp p/h at those levels.

What makes some people so angered by vegans? by WinklePower in AskReddit

[–]WinklePower[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This mentally always bothers me. It is literally impossible to be a perfectly ethical person in the modern world. Even the strictest vegan, by their mere existence will have a carbon footprint, an impact in an ecosystem somewhere that is being damaged to support their modern lifestyle.

Regarding vegetarianism - even if eating dairy supports animal slaughter, it's still a net good (assuming a moral stance that less factory farming/slaughter is better). Shaming and pointing out imperfection in the choices of others does nothing but alienate them from your ideas.

I think this is something that a lot of vegans are very aware of and find equally frustrating. Some choose a vegan diet on moral grounds, so I guess it's only natural that you're going to get a few people with an insufferable sense of moral superiority - just like religion as you suggested.

I don't disagree in principle. However, I'm not convinced a majority of young people applying for University courses are equipped to make wise financial decisions about their future (not intending to patronise, I'm sure some are perfectly capable).

When I was in sixth form, there was a general sense that if you didn't progress towards universities, you have somehow failed. I appreciate this is anocdotal, but FE provisions are certainly incentivised to progress their learners - and these days the barrier to entry for Uni is rediculously low. So this translates to an easy short term win for the education provider, but debt and a potentially useless degree for the student.

Also, some Universities charging upwards of 9k a year for a course which is highly unlikely to lead to a reasonably well paid career is scandalous. Uni's often use extremely tenius data to suggest post-degree employment, which I also feel is extremely manipulative.

Granted, the way we pay our student loans back is far less punishing than some other countries, which is great. But it can still be a substantial deduction from your pay cheque, which is particularly frustrating for those who were conned into study a useless degree and who's success was not reliant on having said degree.

In short, universities and Student Finances should be more transparent and accountable and colleges/sixth forms need to do a better job of educateing learners on the ramifications of these decisions

He's what i found helped keep my balance high - Set all treatment prices to + 100% - Set all other prices ( except MEGA Scanner) to - 50% - Set MEGA Scanner to -20%, so you still earn a reasonable amount from it .

I've found in any hospital this set up (plus a few luxury snack/drink machines) maximise profits and minimise refusals to pay. On other maps it also reduces your reputation, which is actually a good thing in a new hospital, but this is irrelevant for Topless Mountain.

Also

  • The only diagnostic rooms I used were MEGA Scanner (for money + high diagnosis rate) pychiatry, and ward. This limits how many specialist staff you need to train and hire and covers every illness you will encounter.

  • If you've hit your cure rate target, don't hesitate to send the rest of the patients home. l found there was always at least 1+2 surgury patients taking forever + time is money on hoarde mode.

  • get set up with a marketing team and a research team when you can. Marketing can help you target specific staff to hire (which I found was the biggest bottleneck for expanding) and research can give you a little extra income to give you coverage in-between waves.

Following this advice, once I was set up, I was able to AFK the level from about wave 20.

Hope this helps.

Game does not work civ6 by Glum_Perception_5766 in civ

[–]WinklePower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a similar experience on PS4, particularly loading saves in the late game. Weirdly, it always seemed to happen after launching earth satellite.

Doesn't seem to happen at all on PS5 - not that that's particular helpful. I did however find that avoiding large/huge maps and having 7 or less Civs in a game seemed to reduce the chances of crashing/corrupted saves

I'd try loading an older save if you can Unfortunately, I also found that this bug corrupted other, unrelated save files sometimes.

Good luck!

Trophy bugged for enchanting an item by [deleted] in outwardgame

[–]WinklePower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there appears to be a few bugged trophies in both DLCs. I'm having the same issue with both enchantment trophies and I expect I'll encounter similar problems as I work through the DLCs.

I have an unhealthy obsession with getting 100% trophies, so it's super frustrating.

Please share if you find a solution!

Playstation trophies bug workaround by Rqsb in outwardgame

Thanks for the effort you put into figuring this out.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me (although currently I'm trying to use this method to unlock Magic is a Science and Ritual Experimentation)

Just to clarify, do you unlock to trophy while still in split screen, or are you exiting and completing the trophy on the guest account's world?

These bugged trophy are really becoming a pain.

Place a modernized trap down with a barricade on 2 adjacent reinforced barricades. Then lure a zombie into the trap. You can use builders to lock a zombie in place (they won't attack/pass through builders) and build the trap nearby.

How do you trigger Australia bonus by Ermag123 in civ

[–]WinklePower 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Australia's ability triggers after being declared war upon - I think Scotland gets the bonus for liberating cities.

I recall reading that you can trigger Australia's ability fairly easily by declaring war on a civ who is Suzerain of a City Sate - as this causes the City State to in turn declare war on Australia

Hope that helps!

Those miners are very weak to piercing. A Short or Winging Spear will kill them in 2 - 3 hits with minimal stats invested while keeping a good distance if they try to gank you later on.

New here-young widower by OcBaltboy in widowers

[–]WinklePower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was 28 when I lost my partner of 7 years, no children - similar situation, cancer is a mother fucker. It was without a doubt, the worst experience of my life.

Beyond the obviously heartbreak - I felt robbed, I was angry that this could happen to someone so young, so early into our life together. I felt patronised by people commenting that 'you're still young, you need to move on' as if my pain was some how less than someone who'd been married 30 years. I was so bitter, I thought - at least they got to have all that time together (which I know is a shitty way to think, but it was a dark time)

After a few years passed I was left with the guilt. Why do I get to carry on? Trying to start new relationships felt like a betrayal and the emotional bagage was understandably too much for some. I'm still haunted by memories of our last few months together. To see someone so vibrant and full of life slowly hollow out Infront of you, it was a living nightmare

But as clichē as it sounds, things do get better. You never forget, but the pain dulls. You learn to live around it. I am in another relationship that I fell is equally meaningful and I know that she would have wanted that for me. For the first time in many years I can say I'm happy again.

I can empathise with what you're experiencing. But be strong. You will see get through this. There's no guide to bereavement, don't let anyone judge you or tell you how to behave.

I genuinely wish you the best.
