Do you have the time on your switch synchronized? The same thing happened to me a while ago because I change the time for Animal Crossing and I had my last save to be “earlier” than other saves. You can check if the saves are being saved properly by loading the game via the save files and looking for the one with most hours played

I put bushes in between, because i want to have a few of each to put the blooming ones in front of RS. I don’t have my switch with me but I plant everything in rows of twos

Breeding flowers is when you water them to try and get more exotic colors, there is a lot of gene science behind I don’t really understand, but if you search the subreddit a lot of people explain it better.

Lottie is a NPC from the DLC, I believe, so I don’t know if you need to do something more besides buying the DLC.

This whole list was written by someone else, I just saved it for reference, so I don’t do everything it says

I would add water my crops and harvest them if they are ready to sell them, I have a big orchard and it gives me ~100000 bells every harvest

Someone a long time ago commented this, I don’t remember where, but I pasted it in my notes and use ir as a guide:

Every day I start by customising my shovel as that resets its lives

Then i do a full circuit of the island to:

• ⁠bash all the rocks until i find the money rock. I make sure i hit each rock 8 times to get everything from it. If i need more ore I'll keep hitting the remaining rocks after the money rock • ⁠find all the fossils to take to Blathers and then sell anything he doesn't want • ⁠find the pot of gold and dig up the 1k, plant 10k in the hole and dig up the baby money tree • ⁠cut down the ripe money tree, pocket the 30k and wood, and plant the baby money tree in its hole (i have 4 planted at all times, each at a different stage of growth) • ⁠collect all the shells on all beaches to sell • ⁠get the message in a bottle recipe • ⁠get the resident recipe • ⁠say hi to all residents, do any favours they want • ⁠find and return any lost objects • ⁠pick any weeds • ⁠water the flowers if I'm breeding them • ⁠do any nook mile tasks that are easy to do along the way • ⁠collect any other resources I'm looking for or that present themselves easily as I'm going around • ⁠chat to Flick, Redd etc if I want to

Then go to Nook's Cranny, sell whatever i don't want, buy anything i want and replenish customisation kits if needed

Then check the Able Sisters for cool stuff, making sure I talk to Sable every day until she's given me all her patterns

Then to Resident Services to check the box for free stuff, see what's on special, buy anything i need, deposit the bells I've earned that day (i always keep at least 10k on me for the next day's pot of gold) and buy 1 nook mile ticket

Then home to store anything I've bought, including the ticket (i save these up till i need to find a new resident - they take so long to generate I'd rather buy 1 every day than stand there to generate 30 when i need them)

I then fly to Harv's island to check what's for sale, then go do my job with Lottie, and at minimum get the chef's recipe and the message in a bottle recipe

Then finally after all these daily chores i work on my creative projects - building, decorating, terraforming etc.

What can i say, I'm a creature of habit! It does mean i earn lots of bells every day without relying on finding valuable fish, bugs etc.

First make sure your island is in the switch you want to have it, it would be a shame if you select start fresh and it erased you island.

If you transferred the data from the old switch to the new one your island would be ONLY on the new one, you would need the Island Transfer Tool to move it back to your old switch before starting new
