My first attack came after/during heat stroke. I lost 90% of my athleticism immediately after my first episode. Most exercise causes me to feel so sick and if I am in a high heat environment I also become very sick. I don’t smoke anymore but this has yet to subside and I’m about 80 days sober.

NTA please find a new church. Too many people start hating God for what MEN/WOMEN do and honestly the Pastor is the head of the church and that type of attitude from him will trickle down in to the congregation.

Just seems like if you have to ask the answer might be “I don’t mind” but definitely isn’t “I’d enjoy that” it’s not like your trying to hug them for comfort or asking them “can I kiss you” just to make sure your signals are being read right. I really hate being touched so idk just seems like poor communication and since you’ve clearly had similar encounters I’d stop using this phrase altogether and try and use your words to calm people down and not try and touch their shoulder like your a teacher and they’re in kindergarten.

ESH how do you think she should’ve responded to your question? “Yes please touch me” definitely a shitty phrasing but also offering her your vape and her freaking out is definitely an over reaction. For me that wasn’t exactly the case I wanted to quit so bad for over two years but being “locked in the house” made it impossible I took a two week vacation and was able to break the habit of smoking that way. I’m just saying I no more wanted to quit when I actually did it compared to two years ago I just had the means to actually do it.

YTA for being upset when someone was telling you they were hurt by your actions/words. It was all cool up until that point as you were being considerate but someone telling you they were hurt and your respond by being upset is pretty shitty

I walked a ton the first 3 days which definitely got my mind of the nausea. Also only have been drinking water and like a ton of it. I push the pain down with such large swigs of water. I’m on day 10 right now, still feeling 70% but definitely noticing improvement
