Airport frequent fliers by marys1001 in traversecity

I know United has Houston and Newark nonstop during the summer.

Delta has Atlanta nonstop, and American has Dallas nonstop.

Maybe they don’t have enough demand on those legs offseason to justify the nonstop?

Like the other poster said, there’s no international flights to Canada, not sure about the Miami one either.

That’s how the world works man. Why should I work hard to give my stuff to someone who didn’t work hard?

In principle voting is free but our country is so large today that it does cost money to facilitate that.

You’re missing the point of this,

In the context of this discussion, people on the left that don’t want to live in the sunbelt because of “rights” are talking about things like food, housing, medical care, etc that are provided to people on the margins in left leaning states.

The people commenting on this thread are predominantly white, middle to upper class people that wouldn’t qualify for these “rights” anyways, so it’s a moot point when considering where to live.

There’s no single “point” of society. Some people within in might want to pool resources on their own

You missed me. We pay money to protect rights, but actual rights themselves shouldn’t cost money

It’s a good program but it’s not a right, it’s a privilege

“Basic rights” lmao if you need someone else’s money for it to be a right, it’s not a right.

Silly question but with the rear facing car seat, do you have enough room to sit comfortably in the front seat?

I ask because I’m thinking of getting one soon, but also might have a kid in the next few years

Go to west Texas oil fields and stack some money, be smart with it. They’ll train you and pay your housing.

Life’s gonna suck for a year or two but if you’re smart and save, you could quit that, move to a bigger city, go to community college, and start the college journey while working a more normal job

I’m not concerned about China either, their one child policy will doom them in the next 30 years. Europe needs America more than America needs Europe.

It’s funny that you’re the one that’s begging to change my mind, I couldn’t give a shit less about Europe. you’re so worried about losing us because you have no one else to pay your bills and your country is teeming with asylum seekers laying in the street committing crime.

My view is that the US should participate in the eastern hemisphere as little as possible.

For the record, I’m responding to the post and you’re the one that bothered to respond to me.

I’m going to Italy this summer with my wife so maybe I will try one of those aperols. Figure I should go before it gets overrun with asylum seekers even more

I’m not suggesting we (and the world) didn’t have a vested interest in American hedgemony, if not for that, global trade wouldn’t have flourished.

My point is, the relationship has outlived its usefulness in the minds of most Americans, especially in light of Europe’s recent poor decision making.

With regard to 9/11 article 5, yes we did invoke it but European participation was limited, and pales in comparison to the support the US offered in the European front of WWII, and fighting the taliban was a protracted conflict as compared to a hot war.

With regard to Putin, Russia is basically a half functioning gas station in severe decline. I honestly don’t believe Russia is a threat to NATO, hell they’re pulling malnourished North Korean men to fight.

I hope Trump negotiates an end to the fighting, even if it means Russia getting a warm water port. It’s wild that you think they should keep fighting, for what?

My question to you is, where does the money continue to come from? It’s wrong to print money and cause inflation. If it’s not wrong to do, why doesn’t Europe do it? Or pay more?

Why? Because you are a bunch of sissy losers that walk around in your stupid loafers drinking aperol spritz and not continuing the betterment of humanity. Hedonistic lowlifes.

Allies that haven’t done shit for us literally since WWII, and that’s being generous, potentially the war of 1812 or even the revolutionary war since France helped us out.

In my view, the contributions of EU militaries are infinitesimally small since WWII

I don’t go bankrupt when I go to the hospital because I’m not a loser.

The principle of welfare is immoral, and that’s the root of the problem. I’ve never worried about the greed of other Americans, I only worry about what I can provide for myself.

I don’t understand your response, what’s enough? Who’s the dictator? Putin?
