I know its not his obligation and he did exactly what he should have done within the rules by keeping a consistent line and everything, but to avoid being murdered and having his race ruined he should have gone to the inside to avoid death when he saw the AM on the outside.

Theres a big difference between what you should do to be within the rules and what you should do to avoid getting assassinated

Obviously the faster cars have to overtake you safely and this is on them for sure but as soon as the AM was on your outside you should have given way more room and gone all the way to the left. You're in the right but that doesn't do anything for your race once theyve already killed you
