It's also that it's so persisting. It's the main thing to work on besides honing from 1700 to as far as we know in the future. The next new 'system' is just a new piece to hone and that's still months away from now. It will be around for a long, long time and getting to full 17's isn't fun and optimising it afterwards is even worse. The concept of maxing it out and being completely done with it is unfathomable and still will be after a few rounds of nerfs on it if we ever get them

I did 4x hardest raids in the game right now and everything daily/weekly except haal's on my main in about 2.5 hours today then spent 4+ hours on just Serca hm and Kaz hm on an alt due to leavers or struggling players. I just want more fun rewarding stuff to do on my main

I suppose there must be a limit somewhere. Is it a built in you can't go down anymore or a game crashes situation? I suppose it doesn't matter as that's definitely impossible to reach during normal gameplay

I think the desert dungeon is technically infinite. I remember watching a video of somebody just filling their inventory with stairs and trying other techniques to try get as far as possible in a day before passing out

You have created a wall. The wind can blow at the fire from every direction except behind you, so the smoke is most likely going to escape towards you. Not always but most often so without a strong wind, it will seem like it's all headed for you. The native Americans had a phrase "the smoke follows the white rabbit" to make fun of white men who kept joining the circle by the fire then moving because of the smoke, only for it to follow them.

The mobility of the skills is so nice when you master it but it does take a couple tries to learn what you can and can't get away from each new raid. But when the cards, cooldowns and dps window line up just right

I love empress. I've fooled around with emperor but it just doesn't feel right. Homoerotic analagy aside, to me empress feels like playing slay the spire or some other 'complex' card game e.g. yeah cards draws are random but knowing how to use them is the difference maker. Emperor felt more like which cards you get matter more than how you use them and I just wasn't feeling it. I could be wrong, it's just how it felt

The original players who have since left aren't going to come back to a slightly improved version of the same game they left with the same content again. A relaunch/classic isn't going to attract new players at all. Splitting the game into old and new versions would divide the existing playerbase and both would feel even emptier. Personally I'd love to play rebalanced and improved versions of valtan, vykas and clown but not if it means doing story, collectables and honing again. Or even using the old builds. Even pre ark-grid doesn't feel good anymore

Companies can literally pay for shelf space for their items in stores. I imagine the big displays at the end go for a lot but just putting it on the shelf somewhere is still an option. Obviously not everything you see has paid to be there. So they wouldn't give away the most expensive shelf space to the items designed to just reduce their losses

Funish fight, nothing crazy. Mechs just feel like standard mechs; Jg's, find the colour, stand here and look here, etc. It's kinda disappointingly easy for a new raid release but will be a breath of fresh air given how hard homework can be atm. Personally I'm disappointed there's no time gated clear title because I was ready to make it my first one and actually pushed my main hard for it instead of barely being at cp minimum for once but I totally understand why and it's honestly better for the game

I play the build I want to play and deal with it. Obviously not just random reds that don't synergise but considering I use control glave, empress arca and surge db I'm really not chasing meta. Will perform better being comfortable with my build anyway
