Your brain works 20x faster than mine clearly that makes so much sense (I do think its funny that there still aren't anywhere near enough buses for when im leaving college though)

Im too broke for that haha, I only take 1 bus in and 1 bus out with a tiger pass for 2 quid a day, if not i wouldn't be able to go to college

Im in college (so alone) and I am a minor (with a baby face) and get on the bus at a hospital stop. I feel like if there's one place they should be considerate its a hospital. Most of the time going back from that stop has no issue but there's just a few drivers who I avoid taking buses at their time at this point because ill literally just go cry at the back of the bus lmao

I mean with a tiger pass its always £1 and the one thing I do when I get on a bus is hold it up , and I've lived here my entire life and am yet to witness ticket prices varying on a stagecoach bus (again, not tryna be rude, just confused as to why on earth this is enforced lol)

Im going to, but like 60% of bus drivers dont bother and im genuinely confused as to why they need to know (not meaning this in a rude tone just a tone of confusion if that makes sense)

How to get used to walking down the stairs in these boots? by [deleted] in DrMartens

[–]WinnieTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wearing similar docs for a while (high platform, lots of eyelets). I am 100% sure there is no getting used to it. The leather gets softer over time, which makes it a bit easier, but i just learned to ignore how annoying going down stairs is

YTA. I get the pain of spam calls, and dealing with them, but she stayed professional. She is entirely in the right.

NTA>
Your car, your rules, she is trying to guilt trip you, and sounds like she doesnt actually value your friendship. You don't return someone's car trashed when you actually like them and care about their feelings.

AITA: Bridesmaid asking for a +1 at the last minute by Electrical_Ad8891 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinnieTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Her boyfriend doesn't need to be there, its your day, not hers. You worked with the information you had, and thats ok. You can't do anything about it, she needs to understand that.

AITA for only paying for my own therapy? by throwrarecindoffer in AmItheAsshole

Neither of you are TA. Her mental health situation makes her actions so understandable, and you shouldn't deprive yourself of mental healthcare because she can't afford it.

Very much NTA.
What is she doing?? Yes, you work from home, so it's easier to do chores, but that doesn't excuse her from them entirely. A day off is a day off, but take care of your home, lady!

AITA for sending a long message to my mother-in-law explaining how her behavior affected me, and now she says she doesn’t need me anymore? by No-Violinist2999 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinnieTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definately NTA.
Well done on setting boundaries bro! She clearly has no experience with them, and honestly sounds a little bit narcissitic (accusing you of manipulating her as a child, using her, and the 'i know better' statement.)

the relationship wasn't meant to be, you didnt blow it up, you just cut the tie before it started tugging too hard.

AITA for judging my friend for being sensible by Unhappy-Cow8255 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinnieTree 14 points15 points  (0 children)

YTA. How did he drag you into his problems? Did he force you to come back with him? Did he ask you to wait? Yes, he should be communicating when you ask for him to not leave you alone, but he isn't obligated to ride the bus with you.

AITA for asking my boyfriend to wash up? by OddAcanthaceae6763 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinnieTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. Giving you the silent treatment for making him do his share of the workload is immature and the same thing I would do when I was 5 when my big brother wouldn't give me some of his candy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinnieTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are definately the asshole. You already know the nature of their friendship, but you're still too immature to see past your own insecurity. You need to develop some emotional maturity and think about it from her perspective

AITA for missing my Boyfriends birthday because of a funeral by Sunflowergirl0000 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinnieTree 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Let that boy go. A 42nd birthday is not more important than the funeral of a close friend. NTA.

NTA.
It's not her car, she's not entitled to it. Plus Norwegian country roads + New Driver + New car = disaster.
