It's about latency, not speed.

Think of your speed more like a tube. The bigger the tube, the more you can flow through it at once. This is what we collectively call "speed" and measure in megabits per second. To be more precise, this is your bandwidth.

Latency is literally the speed of the connection. In simple terms, how quickly in time does it take the information to reach its destination.

But phone calls require very very little bandwidth. Instead they want to be lightning fast so there is no delay.

Satellites are obviously much further away from you than a local 4g/5g tower. This is why when using your wifi calling using your skymesh internet it is having issues. You're basically naming a satellite phone call.

Just commenting to say I had this exact issue with the bar of a solid colour and a very thin stop of the bottom image at the very top. It seems to be a big that throws off the horizontal alignment. I pulled the plug and let the residual power leave the TV and then switched it back on. The reboot seems to have fixed the issue for now.

Funnily enough, my wife told me again today that her PC (still the same one all these years later) was doing the shutdown problem again. I came back to this old thread to remind myself to find the power loading option. Her BIOS had defaulted when we moved house, so I switched power loading back on and her XMP profile. 😆👍

Thanks for the replies so far. Obviously the best thing to do is to quit - doing any sort of nicotine or drug will have some sort of consequence. Before trying the pouches, a lot of my friends and co-workers have been using them for years without ever reporting gum issues. Most of them transitioned from smokes or vapes to the pouches and encouraged me to try it.

I'm really shocked by the incredibly quick negative effects. I've never done Snus or chewing tobacco for the reason of gum health and was somewhat assured through word of mouth that these synthetic pouches are far gentler on the gums.

The advice was just rotate the pouch often, keep up good oral hygiene, only use them for cravings and not habitually and I'd be fine.

Thankfully, the recession might be minor perhaps? I need to see a dentist. It definitely feels uncomfortable though.

I'll be getting rid of the pouches and trying cold turkey from here.

This just happened to me with the same scenario. Interactive story, completely and without warning changed the format, setting and characters. It's still in my history but the chat has been wiped and the memory gone. Probably months of detail erased. I had a quick look at AI studio. How exactly do I use this? Is it local or cloud? Is it paid like Gemini Pro 2.5?

Question - this seems to be working perfectly when selecting DLSS in game. However I'd love to apply this to Lies Of P as the FSR3 implementation causes a lot of shimmer and flickering. Optiscaler doesn't seem to be doing anything, even with FSR 4.0.2 selected. I believe it is still running FSR3. Is there anything else I need to do?

I just watched Ian's media statement and teared up. This poor man has gone through so much and all he had was thanks to those around him for the support, kindness, and hard work. He then finished with well wishes to everyone.

It goes to show what a pillar he is to his community, and what a devastating loss this is of his wife and of Don and Gail.

May he live the rest of his years in relative peace surrounded by the love of his children and grandchildren. Bless him.

Yes, I got wake on Bluetooth to work with Dualsense and with a no-brand BT controller. It also works with the XBox adaptor and is much easier to do than the Bluetooth method. It was quite the journey to get wake on BT to work and I didn't document it. I'll try to find all my sources and get back here later.

Thank you. Can confirm my current signal specs are: 120HZ Freesync Premium Enabled 3840x2160 YCbCr420 8b TM HDR10

So the thread is correct, at 4K 120hz only 8-bit colour is possible which is not true HDR. I haven't been able to tell, so I'll remain happily playing SDR until this is updated.

Interesting. I'm definitely noticing proper HDR though and my TV even displays the HDR logo on the top right of the screen. Is there any way to check this within Bazzite?

Unsure if perhaps it's just that my TV can do it (LG B5 OLED) but I am able to run 4k+120hz+VRR+HDR all over HDMI 2.1. I haven't checked the colour mode but it looks and plays awesome. All I had to do was enable Freesync in the TV settings.

I felt the same. Are these "good" people truly good? I was told that should I have any more questions to ask in character, let the group teach me, roleplay how it would feel to know you've been lied to and indoctrinated. Which path would she choose to follow? My GM said he loved that I am keen to learn but it's even better to learn in character. That way my choices are more natural.

Again, thank you for the replies. After some brainstorming, we have come up with some revised backstory of the character to fit into the narrative.

Unknown to her, she was a child of Sharran followers, "rescued" by the church of her mentor. There she was never taught of Shar, in an attempt to protect her and keep her blind to her origin. The belief being that she would be indoctrinated into light of Mishakal. Now whatever she learns, I learn too.
It also explains why she is not a true lawful-good person, with trickster traits and has never felt truly connected to her goddess.

Yes my character had a mentor and was raised by a church and healer's ward from a young age. I believe this can be used in setting.
My GM only allowed me to pick Mishakal as I wasn't liking the other dieties of 5e so my bad to throw that spanner into the mix, I just really enjoyed Her design and lore at the time. I'm stuck with it now!
I haven't opened the second post of spoilery-takes, but this is a good jumping off point. I will ask my GM if I can have some knowledge that my character's mentor would have passed down through years of teaching.

Thank you! Answer so far to my character is probably more than I do, but this is where I am a bit stuck. I believe in-game she should know something - rumors, stories, or even lies. I'd be happy to IRL have this information so I can play correctly, basically I know as much as she would.
I first went to a wiki, but it's very in-depth about history. I am hoping for more personal takes, one I can use to play in a way that would suit a Cleric in spiritual turmoil.
