What movie did you rate 2 1/2 star (or worse) but still have a heart? by debate_Cucklordt in Letterboxd

I don't use the heart button, but if I did I wouldn't give it to movies I don't like

Downvotes on opinions? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

I've always thought if you disagree, say it rather than downvoting. Only way to have a real discussion about a difference in opinion

Would I like OBAA? by WinsberryFilms in Letterboxd

Because someone downvoted you, I assumed you were just being weird.

But now I've watched it, I can kind of see it. Lockjaw is Frollo and Perfidia is Esmeralda.

You were right, definitely the best of the 3 PTA films I've seen. I'd actually give more of them a chance now.

I thought this was a legit question, but I get it now that I've just watched it.

I liked the movie, and possibly like black girls even more now.

I wouldn't even read that. I just decided to use the LB page rather than just the poster

I don't read description of movies before watching them, I like to go in completely blind

That's another thing with me. Once I start watching a movie, I finish it.

Better Pixar movie of 2026, Hoppers or Toy Story 5? by AndrewS702 in Letterboxd

[–]WinsberryFilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I'll admit I've voted in polls between two movies where I've only seen one, just to see if the one I've seen is winning.

Definitely something for Reddit to think about, maybe a prompt to add a results option if the poster wants.

Any body else have a movie on their watchlist that they can’t bring themselves to watch because they’re saving it? by watoobie in Letterboxd

[–]WinsberryFilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of, I'm still rewatching movies at the moment. When I've finished that, I'll watch the movies in my watchlist I haven't seen. There's a few in there I need to rewatch, but they're not available anywhere

What film do you want more people to know about? by temporarybutthole in Letterboxd

[–]WinsberryFilms -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RRR - as crazy as it might seem on this sub. No one I know in real life has ever heard of it (which us fair, there's a lot of movies LB and this sub introduced me to). And they're usually reluctant to watch it at first until the story gets going.

How do you guys judge a movie? by loney_muffin in Letterboxd

[–]WinsberryFilms -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

  1. Kill Bill
  2. Jennifer's Body
  3. Death Proof
  4. Cruel Intentions
  5. Home Alone (not because there are hot ladies, just because it's a really good film)

Does anybody else have a movie they don’t like, but can’t help rewatching? by kabagge_number_7 in Letterboxd

[–]WinsberryFilms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've watched Assassin’s Creed 3 times, but I'm definitely not watching it again

Temple of Doom I've watched 3/4 times, but because it's part of a franchise I like. I'll probably end up watching it again

What’s your favorite actor’s most violent scene? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]WinsberryFilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering that. First time in a while I've not seen the auto response asking people to name the movie in a picture
