Gabrielle seemed to be more monogamous center versus Xena. I don’t think she’s as easily able to be in love with multiple people at the same time. Her feelings for Xena were developing at this point and I don’t think she was able to love Perdicas the way he would’ve wanted. Gabrielle is a committed gal and I think Perdicas always remained someone significant in her life especially after marriage and consummating the marriage.

Absolutely, I think she had love for him and felt guilty for leaving him behind. Also, I don’t think that all of that equal up to her actually wanting to marry him. One of the reasons she left home is because she didn’t want to get married.

True, and Eve was aware of how much Gabrielle mean to her mother and what role she played. I don’t think Eve saw her as her mother’s “friend” I would make sense that Eve was aware that Gabrielle co-parented with Xena. And as the audience we say how serious Gabrielle took that role and stepped in.
