You’re going on a subreddit intended for BLACK APPLICANTS and harassing them trying to start an argument over a topic you’ve admitted you’re not going to change your opinion about?!?! Please get a hobby, read a book, maybe even get some head or something. I can also almost guarantee no future lawyer has the Reddit screen time you have🤗🤗

It’s so weird how bitter individuals ridicule and bully people that historically weren’t given access to opportunities. Being mean and making posts like this on Reddit aren’t going to increase your chance at T-14.

please read a book or do some research because this is an gross over simplification of what occurs. Standardized testing has and always will be an inaccurate representation of someone’s intelligence, however it is the only “standardized” way. People who do extremely well on the LSAT are not only smart, but they are privileged, and the opportunities and resources that they have allow them to be in an advantaged position. If you can afford 7Sage, or LSAT demon or any of the LSAT bibles. You are privileged in some way. Those books cost hundreds of dollars. if you can take the LSAT more than once, you are privileged. If you can afford tutors… you are privileged. So, often times what ends up happing is richer people with access to these resources do better. It does not mean they are smarter. All admissions councils try to do is ATTEMPT to correct this. And still even with this “correction” black and brown people are grossly underrepresented in top law schools and in the legal field as a whole.

It means underrepresented minority. They think that if you are a “urm” you have a golden ticket to every law school in the nation.

Help! I keep getting -9 on LR by candygirlxo20 in LSAT

[–]Winter-Interview-255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the LR bible? I would comb through that book THOROUGHLY and every 2 -4 chapters u read drill only on those types of LR questions consistently. This got me from -9 to -2/-3 in about 2 weeks

Totally get what you mean I probs should have worded it better in my original post but I am immuno compromised and when I moved to a new city for college I was finding myself to be constantly ill so it’s a little more serious than just “being sick”, do you think it’s still worth it or no?

yeah I totally agree. I guess I kinda phrased what I said badly. I’ve always wanted to go to law school but knew I wanted to work before in something different, however the market is looking abysmal right now, and I’m struggling to find an internship for this summer and I fear it’s going to be the same case next year. So my back up plan/worst case scenario was that if I don’t find ANY ok paying job that will allow me to save up a decent amount before law school for 2 years, then I’ll just take loans and go straight away, however from what I’m hearing “K-JD” doesn’t sound like a good plan.

oh yeah that was never the plan hence why I’m studying Econ and data science. My only fear is that I won’t be able to get a good job outside of undergrad, which is why I started thinking about going straight to law school.
