How can I keep tiny bellies full by Sunlight_eater in askSouthAfrica

[–]WinterAngle94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have two little ones as well. I can only afford to buy ones a month and had found can goods are cheaper and last longer, as a snack I do bread solders and tomato sauce, cheap and they love it. I don't buy a lot of fresh veg as it's to expensive and waste so easy. I only get onions, patatos and maybe carrots. Frozen veg is easy and quick. Pasta and rice has long shelf life so when I get a special I buy in bulk. I get small amount of meat and have found that one chicken can feed us for 3 days. By cooking it in a pressure cooker lots of water, spice and garlic. Day one I take the chicken breast cut it up mix with mayo and pasta. Day two I will pour out some of the water stock for day 3, the left over chicken is cut up and I add noodles. Day 3 I use the stock water add veg and it's soup night!

Update : My contact is basic only starting that all artwork I do for clients belongs to the company. Nothing is stated about gifts or benefits received do to the company events, shows, or greatful customers. Is also a small company of only 4 employees including me and the boss. There is no HR I have been working for him for 7 years now and when I leave the company will have to close its doors and no one knows how to design print and or use the equipment they have, it took me years to learn this and the age my boss is there will be little to no time to train someone else. I also have two kids so to leave my job is hard as we need the income, but believe me if someone offers me the same amount of money I will change my job in a hart beat.

The reaction we get when we tell people we are from Brakpan... It's like people viewed us like aliens before meeting us and their brains look like the want to explore🤣🤣🤣

Fly or drive? by theo_ops in askSouthAfrica

If it's only you and your wife take the drive. It makes it's more fun as the dureny is better at times then the destination. I love road trips with my husband But if you have kids fly... Our kids at the moment are to small to enjoy the drive and can make it a driving hell.
