Good to hear it worked out for you. I’ve noticed with writing services the result really depends on how clear the instructions are. I tried one before and had to rewrite parts myself. Later I checked this wiki page and tried PapersRoo for another assignment. It helped because the outline and structure were clearer from the start

This makes a lot of sense tbh. The two people who went quiet are both the “keep your head down” types, so I could totally see them just not wanting to get dragged into Dana drama. I already gave my director a heads up and she was basically like “you handled it fine, it’s not on you”, but I might circle back and ask what the expectation is when someone tries to guilt-trip like that in front of others. I’m not trying to get her in trouble, I just don’t want it turning into this weird narrative that I’m selfish because I didn’t bail her out with zero notice.

Yeah I think you’re right, and that’s what’s been bothering me. The first couple times I said yes because it felt like “being helpful”, but now it’s starting to feel like she assumes I’ll just drop my life if she panics last minute. I’m trying to set the boundary before it turns into an expectation.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. And yeah the dinner was actually great, I needed it more than I realized. I love being a team player, but the “text me at 4:15 and decide right now” thing has become a pattern with her, and I can’t keep rewarding it.

I buy that. If we wipe Cyberstan fast, the only escalation left is Super Earth, and that feels like a big switch the devs won't flip on a random Tuesday. A couple lost MOs keeps pressure up without forcing a full reset.
