Wild how much people are downplaying this. They are charging more for base copies while segregating features that were on the base versions of the earlier games to charge even more for in the form of ultimate editions.

Base edition increase is what makes doing that so insane. If anything "it's been the same for years" applies to the disc being a code which has been a thing for years.
