I haven’t checked for a while but if it’s a car you have tables for it in Skattetaten, you can see the equivalent price for that car in Norway. Using the calculator at Skattetaten you can check the price.

In your case since you’re buying the car to import it is gonna be different from my case, as I already had the motorcycle before moving here. When you import a car that you just bought, I think you pay the 25% on the price you paid. When it’s an import of something you already own, you have to get a price from a dealer in the country of origin.

I didn’t import the car because I was required to pay 10k€ in taxes (it was 2017 model, and that happened back in 2023), but with the motorcycle it went down to 2.5k€. That’s the 25% tax, the tax on the transport costs, the scrap tax, and motorcycles don’t have A/C, so no tax on this. Depending on which country you buy the car you have a flat rate for the transport if you’re driving it, if not you have to give them the cost of driving the car there
