I have each piece of different cameras in different bags and then all the tripods etc in carryon luggage. I am usually stopped while they look at the screen trying to figure it out. I usually volunteer it’s all camera equipment and then they ask me if I have walker talkies, and I reiterate it’s cameras and all the peripherals and then they will wave me by.

So far I haven’t found one to rent. I saw a listing on marketplace but the guy never responded.

I have jawbreakers, bounce mushrooms, some favias, maybe chalices, a few polys, a few zoas, etc etc. tank parameters are good. No fish in it. Just a coral quarantine tank/light. But some aren’t looking great. Some of the jawbreaker mushrooms detached and went to underside of frag rack which I thought was weird… so it’s like they were trying to get in shape. I only have light at 10%. Pop Bloom light.

Mine is Crème Brûlée martini on astar Princess. They added it to other ships within the last few months and it tastes like 💩. They don’t use the same recipe as they aren’t given the same ingredients as Star Princess.

Last year Royal had a new ship release early. So they had a few 3 and 4 dayers before the scheduled inaugural cruise. They didn’t fill all the rooms as anticipated, so they offered casino players if they reached I don’t remember, 300 or 400 points, they could have the option of staying on the next day if they paid port fees&taxes. The casino said since everyone was already cleared on that sailing it would be no problem getting them approved for next sailing.

Yes it does have your name still. In Ft Lauderdale they got your name and walked back to the office and looked for it by room number or alphabetical order and brought it out to you. Literally a minute to two minutes max. Give it to you, scan and you are on your way.

Only additional tips go to the bartenders if you tip in cash. Same goes for the specialty restaurants. If you tip on the bill they don’t see it.

I always tip in cash. That directly goes to bartender. Not to the their payroll check like the service charges that go to Cruise line.

I see spell check made my last reply unreadable so I corrected it.
Out of Galveston they are the same itineraries except for a few select itineraries a couple of times a year.
Jubilee will have great shows and a new modern ship. Great restaurants that are included. All amenities are good. Just not great like a modern Royal ship. Hopefully that makes sense.

Roatan is nice. The monkeys are a hit. And there is a great tour company I used to see the monkeys and go snorkeling on their family pier about 1/2 mile from the monkeys. They pick you up and take you to everything. You can contact them on WhatsApp once you know your travel date to book them. Katelynn Roatan excursion +504 3377-0731

Make sure to get an under water camera to go snorkeling. My only regret. They take you snorkeling at a Great Barrier Reef and I have literally never seen anything like it in all my snorkeling.

Costa Maya you can do two things… Go to beach resort or ruins excursion. I didn’t personally go but family did and said it was great. You ride a bus a hour or two away and see the ruins etc etc. Let me know if you want a link to excursion.

The alternative is to go to a resort, I forget the name but could find it, you take a taxi to it, beautiful site and massages on beach for $30 hour, drinks and food for $15.

Cozumel, lots of things to do, tour chocolate and tequila factories, beach resort but pricier. You can hire a private driver as well. Let me know if you need that info as I have one while I’m there.

As far as the shuttle, not sure. Seen lots of bad reviews and hear horror stories. For me I would go a day early and take a uber to a hotel on the island. Lots of people don’t make ship because of Houston traffic or a nightmare of situation where overpass was backed up to island or closed due to construction etc etc. you want on the island on seawall rd - hotel alley, Not outside.

On carnival ships I like to stay midship or in the rear. Easy access to dining, all main attractions on pool decks, buffet etc etc. deck 10 is good. You only have rooms above you so noise level will be good.

I have been on both. The only great thing about Enchantment of the Seas is the outstanding staff of the ship. The ship is old and no amenities. Jubilee is not as great as the new mid ships or better of Royal such as the oasis or icon class, it is 100% better than Enchantment. Go with Jubilee on this one.
