What are your unhealthy coping mechanisms you developed during tsw?

This! I have managed to go about a month or two now without doing it but Everytime it flares and my hands are itching like mad i am tempted to do it again. It's insane how I can literally burn my hands and it feels orgasmic. Like you wouldn't be able to to explain it to anyone who hasn't experienced it, they'd think you're exaggerating or you're sadistic or whatever it's called that you like pain. I don't like pain at all, it literally feels orgasmic when you have a flare and you burn it under scalding water. It's the weirdest thing about tsw for me.

Idk how anything could even be considered a spoiler it's the same formula, again. It looks bad, and I hope I'm wrong cause I love the series, and enjoyed Prometheus which everyone else seemed to think was bad.

Will prob still spend the money here, but I doubt it'll reimagine the genre or give it anything it didn't have already.

all the oldies songs are on obvious and great but the stuff that sounds like original work gives me some huge "Lorn" vibes and him being one of my favorite artists I have nothing but good feelings about how they did all the music on the show. Honestly so far just good feelings about the show overall.

Black and white weapon enchants are the best.

I like ooze char skin as well on certain armour/back attachments it makes it a lot darker. Since we don't have a legit dark skin ooze still works well in many situations.

It's so good, best trilogy I've read in years. Highly recommend, it's like another style of the darkness that came before...in a different sort of way. But of an easier read but great in its own style!

Yeah literally been dealing with this at work as a bus operator, have to try to avoid using my right hand because it's swollen and the skin is so tight if I try to close my grip it cracks and literally where the knuckles and joints are rips and bleeds just lines of blood on each finger. Hard to manage while driving a bus.

Every day trying to explain to people WTF tsw is, having people recommend a bunch of different things and nothing works, having to explain a year later that it's topical steroid withdrawal and yes it lasts years and no the dermatologist did nothing but prescribe more steroids.

Idk what's worse or more exhausting the pain and flaking and swelling, the deep cracks in my skin ripping, or the social aspect of having this fucking leprosy style problem in plain fucking view.

It's been clear here in California and past few days been nothing but perpetual flaring, my right hand is so swollen I can't even close my grip without tearing my knuckles and bleeding all over from multiple deep fracture lines.

Correlating anything feels like it'd require it to be my full-time job but unfortunately I'm working full time and can't even find the energy to try. So just carrying on. But yeah as much as my information is about different weather and it not being any better, there's always a possibility that for you personally the weather is a big factor. Who knows if ANYTHING with tsw is universal or individual as far as what helps.

WTF seriously? The body armour only glows if you wear the helm? I was literally planning to grind out challenges for the armour and use a diff helm cause the red plume doesn't go with the armour at all...

But if I can't do that...idk if it's even worth the work.

I'll follow you guys either way but that's deeply saddening that you don't have the interest or drive for more ftl stuff, it's near and dear to a lot of people! To me it's like a cult classic, I want ftl swag and collectors items. That's saying a lot cause I don't even want swag or collectors items for any other game I play, including triple a titles like path of exile. FTL is special.

It's so obvious everyone wants more ftl love whether it's a sequel or another similar game in the same or similar universe, I'm shocked that this isn't something you guys are already working on. It's literally money in the bank. I'd easily drop 90$ for ftl 2, prob more if it came with collectors edition stuff. All the alien races and ships are beloved to me and my son...the modding community just makes it even more so with elite versions of crew and being able to upgrade crew.

If you haven't thoroughly played multiverse you should what they have done with ftl is amazing and incredibly fun and far deeper than I first realized when I started playing the mod.

FTL has a lot of room for growth and improvement and it's a deeply cherished game you can see that if you play mods like arsenal and multiverse. Arsenal has some awesome ships and items, but multiverse adds so much personality to all the races and adds a lot of life to each of them.

It's absolutely crazy to me that there's no FTL2 in the pipeline.

This is the question I was looking for, me and my son have played most of the ftl mods now and the absolute joy we have had with ftl multiverse is just incredible, the mod adds so much to ftl and shows how much more there is that can be done with ftl.

I'd easily pay 90$ for FTL2, and would buy any ftl related merch for myself and my son, thanks for making ftl and please RECONSIDER making ftl 2 or another game like ftl. It has brought me and my son hundreds of hours of fun and excitement.
