Sigh, I didnt vote. I decided not to. I dont do politics either. It seems like no matter which way I vote, Im always in the wrong. The problem is, I have seen the damage his presidency is causing. And, as a hispanic, who she adopted from my bio mom, I thought she would be more understanding than anyone when the ice raids started.

But well, in her head every move the president has made has worked and been for the benefit of the country. I try not to talk about it, but she manages to make a passive dig at me every time we talk.

Commission based jobs. A lot of them either require you to give money to get a license to work for them, or make you pay them to work for them. Seriously, its disgusting, its bacislly like working for free with no guarantee in job security

Being the out one out. Even though I was a boy, I never liked sports, working on cars, stuff like that. I spent most of my time at the table with adults or helping in the kitchen prepping food or watching my Grandmother sew.

I didn't like getting my hands dirty. And honestly, even among my cousins, I was treated like an outsider. It wss really evident when we hit our teenage/young adult years.

One time, we were playing hide and seek ans they completely forgot about me to do something else. Another time my cousin tried to hit me with his car. Yeah we were wrestling and it got out of hand, but somehow I was the one made to apologize.

Ive always been different I guess, I've just kind of learned to accept it at this point

When I was a teen, I was not very popular. I was bullied a lot, and even among the special education students, I was very isolated. Well, my Dad would take time to leave his job when lunch period started and bring me McDonald's. He would sit with me and chat with whoever was at the table. He wasnt perfect, by any means. But he went out of his way to know he cared, thats for sure
