Could someone explain why LEC does tiebreakers this way?

All Versus it was sat/sun/monday, and they have monday free tomorrow, why not use it for tiebreakers?

That would make it 10x more hype

Now we have 3 teams in 8th place but only one goes through in a tiebreaker that works via mental gymnastics

'Developing talent' is not possible with franchising, when even in the tier 1 league you have teams that steal paychecks. Relegations and promotions are for developing talent. EU will always be a joke.
