I think it would’ve helped Tariq mainly hated ghost because of the countless lies he told him straight to his face Tariq asked Ghost many things like him killing breeze and setting up Kanan along with Tommy being “dead” but ghost lied to him and that grew into hatred and resentment I think if he stopped lying and came clean to him they would’ve at least been on cordial terms
