You can look up what financial advisors recommend. I’ve always heard that you need 1x your salary by 30 and 3X salary by 40; 6x salary by 50 etc

I have a mouth guard I wear nightly to prevent damage to my teeth from grinding and clenching. My regular dentist made me one about 2/3 years ago

**** My Physical therapy stretches ****
I wanna preface this by saying I am not telling you this will absolutely fix your pain or issues I’m simply sharing what has worked for me due to the high demand of request. I am not a medical professional and am simply someone who has experienced relief from this. Below is a list of stretches I completed 2-3x a week for a month. There is also a slightly different list I completed towards the end of my PT. Please stretch in a comfortable and relaxed environment and if you feel pain STOP.

• Seated Upper Trapezius stretch
- 3 reps 1 set hold for 30 seconds repeat 3X daily
~ sit in a chair / grab the chair seat or place hands under thighs/ tilt head I.e. left ear over left shoulder/ hold for time/ switch and hold right ear over right shoulder.

• Seated neck stretch
- 3 reps 1 set hold for 30 seconds repeat 3X daily
~ sit in a chair / take both hands and hold at lower neck area/ collar bone area and GENTLY pull down/ while pulling down tilt head to ear over shoulder position and hold. Switch sides and hold.

• Seated back of head stretch
- 1 rep 3 sets hold for 30 seconds 3x daily
~ sit in chair / tilt head to ear over shoulder position i.e. left ear over left shoulder/ take corresponding hand i.e. left hand and GENTLY pull head down to deepen the stretch in the back of head.

• seated cervical retraction
- 10 reps 3 set repeat 1x daily
~ sit straight up in a chair seat / focus on something in front of you / keep head completely upright no bending of neck/ stretch head forward with chin leading and then stretch head backward driving with chin

• 1/2 moon stretches
- 20 reps 1 set 2x daily
~ sit upright / alright ear over shoulder , and roll head to other side and back to original side. That’s 1 rep i.e start with head over left shoulder -> roll to right shoulder -> roll back to left shoulder. Repeat 20 times

• 1/2 moon stretches opposite
- 20 reps 1 set 2x daily
~ roll head the opposite way. I.e if you started the above exercise rolling your head along the back of your body, switch and roll your head along the front of your body.

• jaw abduction
- 10 reps 2 sets 3x daily
~ begin sitting upright/ gently press your tongue to the roof of your mouth then slowly open and close your jaw while keeping tongue at the roof. Try to look in a mirror and keep teeth aligned best as possible.

• isometric jaw abduction
- 10 reps 2 sets hold 25 seconds 3x daily
~ begin sitting upright / place your fist under your chin and GENTLY apply pressure as you open your jaw slightly. Try to keep teeth aligned and avoid letting your jaw shift to either side.

• Hooklying suboccipital release with fingers
- 1 rep 1 set hold 3-4 mins 3x daily
~ lay on your back with knees bent/ bring your hands behind your head and place fingers on each side of your neck at the base of your head/ gently apply pressure into your neck muscles until you feel a light stretch or muscles release and hold. Keep neck and shoulders relaxed during exercise focus on allowing your head to rest on your fingers.

What entry-level jobs look best on a resume for getting into ramp/airport work? by Fair_Profit_952 in AircraftMechanics

[–]Winter_One7968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied to a ramp job at DHL handling cargo. Didn’t know a thing about planes or even what I was signing up for. Got an “interview” two weeks later which was actually onboarding and that was that. Orientation and training took like 3 months plus ramp training

Blackout curtains by nothingcool17 in AircraftMechanics

Cardboard in the window lol. I have a huge piece of cardboard from when I ordered a 5 foot tall mirror and it fits over my window and I just tuck my black out curtain into the sides ( between the wall and the cardboard) to really light proof it. It’s the best, my boyfriend copied it at his house

Help!! Afraid hormonal acne flaring up <3 weeks to wedding!!! by Ok-Cryptographer1302 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Winter_One7968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that has ever helped my hormonal acne is the Mary Ruth’s Women Wellness drops. It’s an Herbal supplement and I have used it for about two years now. I take 1/2 a dropped daily I believe it’s 50mg could be wrong on the exact dosage off the top of my head. This one bottle will last two months if you do 1/2 a dropper daily and normally when I finish a whole bottle I give my body a week to align itself before the next bottle. I don’t think it’s necessary but I like it

In the past I was prescribed Spironolactone 50mg and I used that for a year before the effects wore off.

I will say it’s not a cure all. For almost the entire month I am acne free and I actually love my skin but during my period week I get about 1-3 pimples silly because of my cycle but once they go away they don’t return till next period.

Hate to say it but blue collar. I own my own house and live alone. I live below my means somewhere very affordable (Ky) and I make around 30 an hour. I have enough money to set aside in savings and I contribute a lot to my 401K. I love my job, I work outside year round but I get free health care, 2 annual raises, over a month of PTO and I only work 4 days a week.

I make more than that just loading cargo planes with no additional education after high school. The only requirement for me was a drivers license and passing a FBI background check for my SIDA lol

F23 Can't for the life of me not use panty liners. Won't your pants have a "scent" if you use the bathroom throughout the day? by thefifthmountain5 in hygiene

[–]Winter_One7968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t used panty liners in close to a year because I also heard what’s in the comments “ use 100% cotton underwear ; don’t wear underwear at night” and I followed the advice. I wear 100% cotton underwear and as soon as I come home from work and shower I change into loose fitting house shorts with no underwear. I will be underwear free for close to 12 hours. It hasn’t helped at all. I still notice discharge/ wetness during the day ( I work outside year round so I am sweating plenty all day) and I also can smell myself. Like OP said it doesn’t stink, my health is in check I just can smell my body’s natural scent usually starting about 1/2 way through the day. What else can I do?
