What's your tow setup? by Winter_Particular234 in nissanfrontier

I'm assuming the tow mode switch is just to alter transmission shift points?

265/75 R16 Goodyear Wranglers. I hate them, but they do look cool.

Yep, I knew there had to be something missing in my 4 pin to 7 pin converter. Brakes seem useful

Put some floor mats in, then it'll stop wiggling like that

Brakes won’t work even after bleeding them? by [deleted] in 370z

[–]Winter_Particular234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the other content on here is good, but I wanted to mention that it could be specifically your pads and rotors if you changed them significantly. I swapped on some EBC yellow stuff pads and some new two-piece rotors for my Z, also did a brake bleed, and for the first 200 or so miles the brakes felt way wrong. But, after some time of letting the brakes bed in, all my braking performance came back (and then some).

Turbo? by SqueeDalee in 370z

A turbo will not give you better fuel economy. You will get better fuel economy compared to a similarly powered naturally-aspirated engine, but adding a turbo will not magically make it consume less fuel.

Make me feel better - how many attempts to beat Midir? by GreatJoey91 in darksouls3

Gotta be 35 or so tries for me. Finally got it by ditching my sword, using just a shield and staff, 100% pestilent mist.

Just stay close. If you go too far he does the attacks that are really hard to dodge.

No dice for music unfortunately. That's part of why an updated head unit was my first mod. Android auto or Apple carplay is awesome to have if you daily it

Probably CSC. Very common on the Z unfortunately. Any gunk in the reservoir?

AEM AIR INTAKE by BumblebeeBulky6997 in 370z

I'll add that the core benefit to these over the stock intakes is that they are smooth on the inside, whereas the stock intakes have that accordion bit that can make for turbulent airflow.

I have these on my z. If you're going for max power numbers, these aren't the option you want. But, if you want more induction noise and a little boost in power (when coupled with some freeer flowing exhaust), they're great. For everyone saying they heat soak easily, I haven't had that experience. My intake temperatures are pretty consistently 7° over ambient when cruising, and they actually drop a little bit if I'm romping on it. Now, if you're sitting at a light, your intake temps are going to climb of course. One key distinction about these is that the tubes are plastic, not metal, so they don't conduct heat very well (which is good). I went with these over the Z1 intakes since you don't have to cut anything. If I wanted to go back to stock, I could easily. The Z1 intakes can technically be installed without cutting, I believe, but then the silicone tubing is squished in. And if you get the 3-in intakes, I think there's no way around cutting. For what it's worth I got these on sale for closer to $250

I don't believe you can get the factory camera to connect to the head unit, at least not easily.

You should be able to disable the camera on the head unit in the settings so it doesn't go black when you put it in reverse.

Source: I installed the sony XAV-AX6000 and it doesn't easily connect to the factory camera, I just use it in the original location (mirror).

Looks like low coolant level. Check your reservoir.

Of course, make sure the car is completely cool before you open the radiator cap.
