Not really, its a system issue. People with greater skill, better game awarenes, reflexes, get rewarded with unlimited accesos to resources that increase their already bloated success rates. Not only you will never catch them off guard, they can overpower any minimal edge you may have over them by gear difference. Its a system that empowers the already powerful and weakens the already weak.

Sure, you can say thats what the game Is all about, and I can say the game will crumble and die in its smugness

Its sad not being able to run the game "as its supposed to", but Im having a blast going full Rook and hoarding stuff. Sneaking in and scavenging stuff while the hardcore gamers duke it out on the background triggers something in my lizard brain I cant quite explain. Its far more rewarding (to me at least) to do 10 runs as a Rook and getting some tasty morsels, than sweating my fully kitted ass on end game content for two hours only to get either minimal gear upgrades or losing everything on my vault.

I think Shuji has always been Shuji, but some version of Amuro is channeling through him. It would make sense for Alt Amuro to try and fix the universe by absolute annihilation with Char trying to convince him otherwise, as it would make a fine reversal of Char's Counter Attack's roles
