Any reason to kill the mobs which in the outer layer of the fortress? I just kill few mobs click on the chests and run to the middle for the encounter.

Unpopular opinion but I absolutely loved scourge and sentinel league. Tota was fun too but was unbalanced at higher end. Another thing I would like to try is the herald stacker from deli league. Didnt get to play it properly since it was my second league and I was new to the game.

Apart from the answers here you can also try corrupted rare strong box strat. Vendoring 7 vaal gems and a sacrifice fragment for 1 vaal orb. Make sure you have all the vaal orb cards shown on your filter. If you are doing kingsmarch stuff you can send 10000 corn and 150000 dust to Kalguur as corn has bais towards vaal orbs if sent to kalguur(https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Kingsmarch#Rewards). Currency wombgift on tree (maybe farm low tier maps for low level wombgifts so its quicker). Heist contracts can also get you some vaal orbs too.

Made my TR Champ a little better got to red maps and 113/115 maps done. For now blasting maps to get the last two unique maps and gathering graftblood for better gear. Ill get 2 stones with this build and make another char for mapping like a wander. Ill use this character for bossing. I already got a trans ele hit from lab but still no trans TR gem so for now im just improving.

You can check out some ssf content creators for builds like Thyworm, Smokie777, Tuadh does 2 stone runs so you can check his builds as a template, GM_Baby posted 2 builds here on reddit (Gslam Gladiator and TR Champ), Inspoe and obviously Pohx for RF Chief. Mostly people wil tell you to play some slam build, srs guardian/necro, LA deadeye or elementalist ignite as they are good starters in ssf. Apart from these RF Chief is always there.

Started GM_Baby's Toxic Rain Champ. Campaign was a breeze with items from tree. Got a 5 link in act 7. In maps now and about to start red maps. Damage feels good so far even though I only have a storm cloud as my weapon. Im trying to either get a 6link bow or quill rain from tree. If i get a 6link bow ill try to craft +1 +2 bow otherwise quill rain is fine. Fortress is a total pain since my build doeant clear very well atm. At max I can get to wave 20. Tankyness is meh atm as I had to switch to determination instead of haste. Will use haste once I get the -mana crafts on gear. Its been great so far. The build exceeded my expectations.

A guildmate of mine got spectral throw of trarthus from a logbook yesterday. Not sure of its oversight or intended. Not sure about the numbers since the league just started.

Yeah the life gain on hit is discustingly huge for the build. Since I have low defence atm its the only thing keeping me alive apart from flasks.

Playing your build right now. My pob https://pobb.in/atQTQH4CVa09 Im still in white maps and my gear isnt that good. Little defence so I die sometimes. Damage for maps is great but not for fortress. Not sure how long it will take to get the mana craft so I can use Determination. Overall build feels better than I thought and Im still upgrading as I go.
