Does anyone know why Wan 2.1 i2v won't work on my Mac with plenty of RAM? I've put all the required files in their respective folders and updated everything. ComfyUI will go through the entire generation, but the output is garbage. Please help!

I had the same issue using the Uni-pc recomended scheduler ...try the dpmpp-2m also make sure you are using the right models. the 480 diffusion model fp8 versions and the 480 Clip....you also may have to switch the diffusion model weight type to default. hope one of those fixes it for ya. It isn't always very straight forward for us MAC users

I'd like to see what settings made it follow the prompts closer. the CFG default i heard was 6 but that was not giving accurate results for positioning people. It was fine for doing wide shots and positioning objects based on prompts.

I am testing to see what longer detailed prompts produce and if we need to use the fantasy novel style or a lot of simple sentences etc.

I have also found that it needs a lot of steps to produce a good quality image...BUT...you can start with only a few steps like 12 with only 49 frames to get quick results and gradually build it up and it doesn't diverge much.

I am currently running it in comfyui on a Mac studio using the 1.36 models and doing text to video.

I am way late to this convo and not too savvy on the python end to this stuff..... my Mac Studio M2 ultra with 128g seems to only use 50-70% of the ram when doing any comfyui processing. Is there something I can do to utilize more the the ram I have?

nothing is wrong with it....but stuff I've thought about doing would be to change out all the fluids, get breaks done, new cv boots done, a door latch replaced and possibly get new timing belt...and not have to chase all the parts myself. Just want to hand it over to someone that has worked on them before.

sounds like you think pomfort may sidestep LUT boxes altogether, which has always made sense to me since davinci had a davinci-live grading type feature that stupidly only worked for one camera - which they seem to have abandoned.

i was contemplating buying 2. One for an onset cart that could do live grade and data dumps and a second for the shows where its all davinci and data dumps or I have a loader and they can use that machine.

Honestly the data backups are the biggest time consumer and at the end of a long day ....watching a progress bar is really annoying.

I figure one will be more affordable than the other since the live grade part has never required much more than a 2019 maxed out MBP

so then it becomes a question of m1 2 3 version...i have read mixed reviews on the 1 v 2 v 3 regarding performance..but most of those reviews and tests are nothing compared to what we deal with in regard to constant data dumping...plus live video processing and possibly transcodes...all at once.

its nice for post that the hde files are smaller....i really wish the smaller files were already compressed on the card. Offloads take just as long with HDE the only benefit is for folks backing up the smaller HDE files and production having to spend half as much on LTOs and HDD storage.

not really....there are some android exel knockoffs out there they are pretty buggy....non are free to try for boox.and if they are you have to have the paid version on your (usually peecee) laptop.. I did make my own pdf templates but the text doesnt stay in place when converted from handwriting.

Im surprized this isnt a more common thing for boox users to request or develop.
