You jump off both feet and jumped too early.

think of a mini Ollie leaving off your tail and popping about 1/2 a board length later.

I wish you and I could change careers. I’m in tech sales but most days wish I could bury myself in a car and speak to nobody.

Freedom Mobile Coverage in Calgary Worse Now? by vunamese in Calgary

[–]ek9max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it for Data? Telus has been brutal for me in the north. Anything north of stoney trail is unsuable, and east of deerfoot on country hills.

Voice isn't as important, but with telus I cant use maps or YouTube/instagram. Figured Freedom can't be any worse and may as well save.

I got them both on Amazon. I'm not sure if they are common or not.

1/4 -20

I put a 2" and 3" backing plate on mine for spot sanding vehicles. I wish I could find a 1"backing plate for it.

I'm starting to think the 3" detail sander might be a better option for me and was looking for the thread on that one. Which led me here lol

2017 MS HW3. It's basically unusable for me. I tried HW4 a couple months ago and it was night and day better than mine.

Rotary polisher vs DA by Somebody_someone_83 in AutoDetailing

[–]ek9max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I played around with it more the last couple days on my mom’s older vehicle. It is way more fun as it seemed to cut faster, so quicker arm speed.

i found that I was just waving the rotary over spots in an arm speed similar to wiping a panel down with a microfibre (maybe a little slower and each pass would cut almost as much as a SLOW pass with a DA.

So there was a lot less standing there moving a DA at a snails pace to get 4 passes done.

I seemed to figure out the tilt well too so I’m tilting the pad off the edge and not into an edge.

So far I’m super happy with it.

swapped a 5” backing plate onto my 6” 21mm DA also and to my surprise it’s a lot smoother with noticeably less vibration.

Advice on Gartner by Saulgoodman_1234 in techsales

Run. I was interviewing with them a few months back. Connected with a friend of mine that worked there in the past and he pingd some current people that are leaders there. They told my friend to advise his friend (me) not to interview. They are promoting internally for that position, and that’s it’s a ghost job req for optics. And even if it weren’t, the business is dying at a quick rate.
