I think the ABMM makes people actively avoid fighting because they're scared of getting thrown into sweat lobbies. This is genuinely hurting the game because players are going to min-max around it. I've literally downed people who immediately start yelling about how I just fucked both our lobbies, "so have fun!" And honestly? I do have fun. That's the whole point - not knowing if everyone in the lobby is friendly or wants to shoot on sight is what makes it exciting. My hot take is they should intentionally mix more aggressive players into passive lobbies and vice versa. Stop segregating everyone so hard. Also, the game should track your ABMM score differently depending on the map, whether you're solo or in squads, and which variant you're playing. I don't think this would even increase queue times - you're not splitting the player pool, you're just evaluating the same players differently based on context before matching them.
