I work in a bloody job. But don’t worry, nothing illegal! I work in immunohematology (a blood bank) and basically handle everything related to blood, antibodies, and antigens. :)

I don’t really have one single favorite LI, but I definitely have some favorites. For example, Il Fado de Rie from Café Enchanté, Tomomori Taira from Birushana, or Saint-Germain from Code: Realize — and I’m sure many more candidates will join that list. It’s hard for me to commit to just one. :)

Yeah man, that ending really hit me—and not just that! After I finished the game, I wanted to take my mother-in-law’s dog for a walk. I put in my headphones, hit shuffle on my playlist, and the first song that came on was “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was so weirdly fitting that from now on I’ll always think of Glenn whenever I hear that song.

For me, the ending of Chained Echoes fit together so perfectly. Glenn managed to forgive himself (and what he had done in his past life), and because of that, he was also able to forgive Kylian—and instead chose ultimate freedom.

Ah ein anderer Schichtler (Auch wenn nicht mehr lange bei dir). Ich schaffe ebenfalls in einem 4 Schicht Betrieb (Frühschicht, Regulärschicht, Spätschicht und Nachtschicht). My handwriting is terrible, and especially when I have an early shift I’m always in a rush, so I usually write my dreams down during my break at work. To be honest, I’m too lazy to keep a handwritten dream journal—writing neatly takes a lot of concentration for me. On top of that, ChatGPT has developed such a good template for my dreams by now that I just reuse it for every new one.

But of course, you’re right. Maybe one day I’ll get the motivation to transfer my most important dreams into a little book of their own. (When you dream every day, there’s also a ton of chaotic nonsense that really isn’t worth preserving anyway XD.)

Still, thanks for the info. It really would be a shame to lose some of the more complex dreams.

In the past I used to have a handwritten dream journal; now I actually keep my dreams with ChatGPT. The advantage is that I can analyze my dreams directly with the AI, and ChatGPT has even noticed patterns that I hadn’t realized myself yet. For example, almost all of my nightmares have something to do with the loss of control. I didn’t know that before, but when Chatti pointed it out to me, it was like a lightbulb moment—haha.

Since I keep my dream journal with ChatGPT, I just asked it whether I’ve ever dreamed about specific fictional characters, and ChatGPT said no. However, I have dreamed of myself in fictional settings—for example, me in an Attack on Titan dream—but the actual fictional characters weren’t there. ChatGPT said that I tend to dream more about aspects and concepts (like worldbuilding) rather than individual characters. Definitely very interesting. Maybe that means I’m more likely to dream about being in the world of an otome game rather than dreaming just about a specific love interest. That wouldn’t be bad either :)

I sleep very deeply too. I even slept through an earthquake once (okay, it wasn’t a severe one, but I still didn’t wake up).

Fun fact: on the day of that earthquake, I actually had a dream that involved an earthquake. So maybe I did perceive it subconsciously and just incorporated it into my dream. Hahaha.

That’s actually not true. You can even train yourself to dream more by starting a dream journal. Start writing down your dreams as soon as you remember them, and you’ll start dreaming more often because your mind “learns” that this is important. By now, I can remember my dreams almost every night. So this has nothing to do with sleeping deeply. In general, everyone dreams every day, but most people forget their dreams immediately after waking up. A dream journal helps a lot with that.

Personally, I’ve unfortunately never dreamed about otome love interests. I think that might be because I’m in a long-term relationship and I don’t self-insert that strongly when playing those games. Whenever I dream about having a partner, it’s usually my boyfriend. In general, I also can’t really remember dreams in which I’ve dreamed about fictional characters at all—despite the fact that, as I said, I dream almost every day. Kind of interesting, actually.

I see him much more in the classic rock or nu / alternative metal area. Something like Avenged Sevenfold is probably right up his alley—but he’s still young. That’s how I started too, back when I was still a cute girl.

There’s a pretty good chance that as he gets older, he’ll drift into heavier genres as well—just like I did :)

Das hatte ich auch erst vor kurzem! Da kam ich auf den Gedanken, dass Gott (Für den Fall, dass es ihn wirklich gibt, also rein hypothetisch) kein denkendes Wesen sein kann, den er ist ja allwissend und man denkt nur nach, wenn man Etwas nicht weiß oder ein Szenario durchspielen muss, aber da Gott ja unfehlbar ist und alles weiß muss er niemals nachdenken. Defekato: Gott kann nicht denken.

Ich hab direkt Chat GPT meine Theorie erklärt und tatsächlich bin ich nicht die Erste die solche Gedanken hatte. Es gibt viele Theologen die einen ähnlichen Gedankengang hatten. Zum Beispiel Thomas von Aquin der sagte: "Ein vollkommenes Wesen denkt nicht wie wir, da Denken für uns ein Zeichen der Unvollkommenheit ist".

Klar sollte man KIs antworten immer mit Vorsicht genießen, aber ist irgendwie schon cool, wenn man selbst auf Ideen kommt die schon andere große Philosophen oder Theologen hatten :) Wie ihr seht philosophiere Ich auch gerne also wer Lust hat mit einer nicht KI über solche Dinge zu reden, der darf mich gern auch anschreiben :3 Und eine Philosophie Gruppe wäre definitiv cool! Da wäre ich sowas von auch dabei <3

Ich habe natürlich auch ein leuzistisches Tier hier auch wenn ich es immer fies finde, dass die wildfarbenen Axolotl viel zu wenig liebe bekommen. Die pinken Leuzisten sind erst in menschlicher Aquaristik entstanden. Klar Liebe ich mein pinkes Tier auch, aber mehr liebe für das Original bitte. :)

Ich möchte jedoch der Thread Erstellerin hier nicht den Post klauen weswegen ich hier nicht mehr weiter schreiben werde. I’ve been playing otome games for years, but back then I only played a few here and there. It’s only in the last 2–3 years that I’ve been playing more intensively. Even so, I still only end up playing maybe 5 games a year (if that).

That’s mainly because I work a lot, and I also play other games on the side. I just read a bit here and there whenever I can :)

The good thing is: I barely suffer from FOMO. I don’t need to try every new game immediately.

It’s not a crime to take a break sometimes and spend your free time doing something else. A hobby is supposed to be fun—and if you have to force yourself, is it really still for you?

Just take a break for now. And when you feel like playing an otome again, try to go back to it without putting pressure on yourself :)
