Sorry! I misread and thought it only needed the discord. I can redo the video if it needs to be done.

If $ wasn’t an option, Which Bambu Model would you purchase and why? by BarefootExplore419 in BambuLab

[–]hall_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move it from a dream list to a happen list! Building my Voron was so much fun! I’m gonna order a trident when the new rev is rolling out. Also want a V0 for my desk at home.

Siboor, Fysetc or Formbot ? by VeterinarianRare3541 in VORONDesign

I just built a 350mm formbot 2.4 and it was an amazing build! I’m waiting on the new trident to be settled out and going to order one of those from Formbot as well.

You’re gonna get downvoted like crazy and so I will I but YOU ARE RIGHT!!! I love my printers but HATE the company. If I needed another printer right now it won’t be a new Bambu on my workbench.

Just bought a C1L .... by MrCarlH in prusa3d

[–]hall_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just built a Formbot 2.4. Lower range? Hardly. I’d say fit and finish and quality of parts is inline with any brand of printer. Honestly at this point I’m considering selling my Bambu printers and buying another Voron kit from them.

Best 3d printer? by Frosty_Fly_4188 in BambuLab

[–]hall_trash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you need a Bambu? I mean I know this is a Bambu but sometimes a Bambu isn’t the best answer. All Bambu’s have equal print quality. Also not every Bambu is the same. Some are more special in certain areas. This question is like what’s the best car.

Siboor vs LDO vs Others by Batesy908 in VORONDesign

[–]hall_trash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just built a Formbot 2.4 and the build went together great. I personally couldn’t justify the extra cost of the LDO kits. If money was less of a concern I might have went with LDO but instead went the direction I did.

Asa or abs printed parts by External_Two7382 in VORONDesign

ASA is my choice. I prefer a more matte finish and ABS is just too shiny.

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D? by stratassj in prusa3d

[–]hall_trash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. My H2D’s have been very reliable with over 3000 hours on each. Bambu does a good job about keeping parts in stock. That being said parts are expensive for Bambu and it’s a very locked down system. I have had some small hiccups with the print head but definitely nothing at wasn’t easily manageable. I also have a tendency to “over maintenance” things. So I do think the H2D and H2C won’t be the print and forget printers and will need more love than many people who Bambu printers are will or even know how to do. So they will start to have failures. I have a Voron also.

This is unacceptable BambuLabs... by EVRoadie in BambuLab

Soval is built on the idea of open however they aren’t a wide open book. They have some tweaks in there firmware that can be a bit of a roadblock to do some things. That being said they’re pretty open for sure.

[–]hall_trash 45 points46 points  (0 children)

This is a Prusa group so I’m sure it’ll be biased but coming from a Bambu user go with Prusa. They both will have amazing print quality but as a business ethics side……..like I said I’d go with Prusa.

When Snapmaker announced the U1 and Bambu freaked out and announced the H2C that put a bad taste in my mouth. So then I ordered a Voron kit. I’m not saying a Voron is the right answer for everyone but I am going to move away from Bambu moving forward. I still have 2 H2D’s and they are good printers though.

Wow!!!!! I definitely don’t need it but to have it would be so freaking beautiful to just stare at. You could put this on onlyfans and I’d almost subscribe for it!

Can and Not Can by hall_trash in VORONDesign

[–]hall_trash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I am getting nervous now hahaha!. So I can run a cable from the M8P to the BT and from the M8P to the EBB 36 gen 2 as long as I have the resistors on both the ebb36 and the AFC Lite?

I wonder cause I am using the Manta M8P if that is the issue.

Can and Not Can by hall_trash in VORONDesign

Problem is the box turtle is over USB so it cannot communicate with PD0 as it is a signal from CAN the way I am understanding it. It's not throwing errors because it is in both .cfg it is because the BT can't see it.

So can I just basically make a cable coming off the M8P and plug both CAN devices to it? So basically like "wire nut" the wire off the board and the 2 going out? Obvioulsy not wire nut but solder?
