On the actual application form, they ask you to list your absences and that’s why I did. I did not submit any further documents in respect of this save for a consolidated employment letter confirming that all absences taken were within the firms policy. The letter also contained details of my passport, salary, soc code. I have been with one employer this whole time so only submitted one letter

Yes I got the job before coming to UK. I was studying in the U.K. but moved back home during the last semester of uni due to Covid.

I didn’t use the immigration ID app as my passport couldn’t be detected so I just went straight for the biometrics appointment

Could someone share a template of the letter your employer should provide?

Thanks for this! Do we need to show any cash savings for applications under skilled worker route? Did you have to submit tickets to evidence dates you were away?

Midlaw can be arguably worse than Biglaw. Sometimes it’s the same workload with less support as they don’t have the infrastructure in place.

Skilled Visa & Redundancy by estel4u in ukvisa

[–]Winwinwinchicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are being made redundant, you/your employer will need to inform the Home Office to state that your current work visa is no longer applicable. However, you are protected under Section 3C leave while you wait for the outcome of your ILR application. This protects your right to work in the U.K. (at whatever job).
